We told the owner of the Biggest pharmacy/Store/Supermarket in the area about an idea we got online to discourage people from buying so much at once so that it can go around,
that he should put a notice that says

BUY ONE FOR #750 and TWO FOR #3000 and THREE FOR #5000!

We forgot for a minute that this is still Naija.
He just looked at all of us @[/color] and says 'abeg, na my market i wan sell,
If one person buy one carton at once,
na quick profit be dat'!

We just bought one for each of us @[color=#006600] and left jejely.

I got home now and i realized my family is using one of these sanitizers. Thank God i bought some éthanol and i took it home to mix 70% as we are used to in the laboratory. I gave them some orientations but reading this thread i feel like i should just drop this as a microbiologist.
1. Pls don't buy any hand sanitizer that does not have the label antibacterial or antimicrobial.
2. Pls note that a good hand sanitizer will have a cold feel when you put it in your hand.
3. A good hand sanitizer will have an alcohol smell and not a spirit smell. They are quite different but i don't know how to explain it.
4. Do not just use ogogoro or any other alcohol. It has to have atleast 60% (but mostly we use 70% in the lab) alcohol for it to be effective as an antimicrobial.
5. It is most preferrable to use detol antiseptic or disinfectant to wash hand than all this paraded hand sanitizers. You can always carry a bottle of water and antiseptic or disinfectant to wash your hands anytime you feel there is a need.

Morning NLders, So today I went to a pharmacy to get face mask, here in PH along Choba road.
The girl told me face mask is 800NGN.

I was like WTF, I bought it sha, prevention is always cheaper than cure, I didn't care to ask for hand sanitizer before they say a price which could make me wonder if the "Sanitizer could also wash away sins and sorrows.

I walked a bit forward and asked somewhere else (towards that place you take bus to mile3) and it was just 500NGN. Still expensive but better.

So how much is face mask in ur area?

Here in Jos I went to Miconey Pharmacy in Rayfield Face Mask goes for 200 per piece (10,000 per pack) two days later another Pharmacy along Ahmadu Bello Way Jos was sell it at 400 per piece (20000 per pack).
