Lagos people stole the yam used for my trad wedding right from the 'Oju agbo'. They have never seen yam so big in their life.It was an igbo woman that caught them.

Momma almost slapped me on my engagement day while i was on the high table in front of the audience

Or some guy that almost robbed me of the monetary gifts I kept in my jacket while dancing with my bride. Dance floor was rowdy, peeps dancing with the couple. Dude came near me whom I had thought wanted to dance only to deep his hand in my inner breast pocket and draw out the envelop
Omo my response was faster than flash before I could say jack the guy disappeared into the thin air
Did he disappear with the envelope?

I went to a traditional wedding where the bride's mom commited sucide. She drank gamaline-20 to take her own life. I ran four fourty.
Rumour has that she had warned her daughter against marrying the man but she refused then mom vowed she's not gonna marry the man in her presence.

I don't really enjoy parties... I prefer a small gathering where guys go just dey reason.
Weddings are usually boring except for these mishaps you people are celebrating.

What the hell Over what lol...

Immediately my dad informed her I won’t be returning back with them to their house as I have friends at my place who will spend the night so we could all leave for the church wedding the next day - momma believed I undermined the tradition. Barged at the high table where I was feeling like mvp, loudly questioning what I had said and the moment I tried explaining myself ehn, hell went loose

Long story short it’s been years but I still do tell her to apologize for that action as I will never forget though I have forgiven her

One thing about very traditional parents is that they are never wrong when it comes to their children and they never apologize
I will never be like that

The stuff happens a lot these days

Last year I went for a friend’s wedding and there I met a young chap who introduced himself as a brother to the groom
Dude gisted me of how he had been around the previous night and all, he was even helping dem share drinks and I remember telling this guy to beware that not everyone at the party came with the right motive that some people had crashed the wedding just to steal

Guess what, this guy was actually a wedding crasher and left there with nothing less than four phones that day while posing as the groom’s brother

Bro, I don't want to remember that incident. How I wish I can share the picture of the attire vs the style I chose, you'll understand better. There was no way I could put that cloth on cos it's way oversized using a wrong measurements. I finished that event with my suit and you know women, she already had her make-up and all styled in her own native.

I remember my friend who did wedding . We planned for the wedding and everyone was assigned roles and my responsibility was to take care of the money that was sprayed.

Two days before the wedding I got a call that there will be head count in my PPA so I dashed straight to my PPA.

On the wedding day with no one to do the money stuff he now assigned it to his bestman,
After dancing and spraying money My friend was engrossed with the gift collection when a man walked up to the best man and demanded for the bag containing money.

The bestman handed the money over to him thinking he is part of the family.

My friend only made 50k from the wedding which is the money someone transfer to him.

The theif was never caught

The bestman was arrested and later released for being stupid

December 2019. Church conducted wedding till 4pm on the excuse the couple turned up late. Guests at reception venue ran out of patience. MC requested food vendor to entertain guests since they were visibly tired and hungry. Before the couple arrived the reception venue at about 5pm, many had gone, very few relatives left. Worse, the couple again checked out to change up. They returned past 5pm to meet the MC, DJ and very few guests. Funnily, they couple kept the drink themselves, and no one even drank. Reception was done in an empty hall; everything was over in 15 minutes

walahi I love this babe already, see as I burst laugh

Was an official photographer for an even, the groom bro segun was a guyman so he turned up extremely drunk, court wedding, when it was their turn, groom couldn't stand straight, getting up and sitting down, dem Sha package am do the wedding, what offed me was when all those photographer that comes to hustle came with almost 15pics that they should pay him for it, groom say he no send am, photographer no gree the motor commot, then the groom and his entourage of agbero almost kill that guy that day, the pics were nice, just collected them and paid him. I really pity the guy Sha cos I do go out to hustle too and I know the pain.

Shey you see ibo people, I don't know if it is their custom o cos the wedding I went to cover at faulks road Aba,, 50% of people didn't get to eat, even I the photographer, na rice without meat I chop. You could imagine my surprise when a van came in few minutes later, the drinks in that van, if dem sum up the money, it can cook food that will serve the whole party 3times.
