Na this one you call full bid? The bids no plenty naa. If I put my small units up for sale e go just enter offer sharply.
On another note, I am not too impressed with this result. Q3 2019, profit after tax was 20billion with EPs at 1.28. Now full year profit after tax is now 22billion EPs 1.44. It shows they only made 2billion in q4. That's not too good.
I am also disappointed at the dividend declared. To be sincere with you I expected N4 and above, given the earnings from SA business disposal but they would rather send all to their parent company by way of debt servicing.
I can remember you saying they should pay up to N4 dividend too, more reason my faith was up too, that at-all at-all, they will pay N2 to N2.50.
We should however still commend them for paying N1. What if they decided not to pay at all?
In my opinion, paying part of the loan is a good course in a good direction too.
With time and over years, the dividend should increase, all things being equal.
We're observing how Mr. Market will handle it. grin

My worry with NB is the stiff competition from IB and other cheap brands in their industry and difficulty to prune operating costs.

Caution is recommended on this stock.

U go dey there, NB go leave u waka !! wink cheesy grin

If I can spare the time, I might do an analysis on the coy.
There are positives that supports why an entry now can bring about a good reward margin.
But like I said before; It's a mid to long term play and not for the short term.

Regards

Huge transactions and cross bids are ongoing in NB.
Oga Oracle also gave a price of 22+ or something, I blvd he must have done some home work.
It may not be far from the bottom again or may have actually reached.
Just my observation.

The brewery sector is struggling, the competition from IB killed IB. International Brewery is currently on life support

NB is well positioned to lead the sector.

Outstanding shares also increased from 8.6 billion in 2018 to over 16 billion in 2019.

Meaning the company also raised funds either through right offerings or some of the loans were converted to equity between 2018 and 2019

Investors are funny. They would be lining up to bid at 9.75 when there are offers at 9.80.

Tomorrow same investors would be scrambling to buy at more than 10 naira per share grin

There is new information so not entirely irrational.

I have few units, but I am not up to date with happenings in the company

How much did they realise from the sale of the South African business?
