Bricklayers dey get money ooooo. In 2007, I had a bricklayer co-tenant in Sango ota and I was feeling I've downgraded my level, being a banker , for being a co-tenant with ordinary bricklayer. In 2008, the bricklayer packed and left me behind in the rented apartment into his own mansion. I was in shock for months and from that moment, I realised I needed a job that would give me more income instead of sitting in the office waiting for the salary that comes like menatruation- comes once in a month and before five days, it is gone. . I was only able to build my house in 2017, that was nine years after. My generator repairer has a big house somewhere in Agbara. Don't underrate anyone oooo. Most of my colleagues in the bank then still find it difficult to pay rent now .

This pictures has raised numerous objection from people, some we're of the view that the guy is broke and can't take care of the guy.

Many were of the view that the girl might be the saviour the guy needs for financial breakthrough.

The main thing is having a man that has a future and is hardworking, he will definitely make it, just a little time and understanding from the partner.

This picture has proven that many are actually after love, not the money or material things.

That guy earns more than a lot of those with white collar jobs. Dont ever look down on any man or woman.

on an hourly base rate I think they are.. I don't gross such per hour, but then I get more clients than them

while i was still in Nigeria, an NGO in Abuja where my friend works were paying them2-3million/month, the lowest was 500k. so tell me, which bricklayer earns that monthly

Am not saying they are not making it, but don't compare a managing director who earns 4million/month to a bricklayer who lays block daily. While i was working in naija, my manager earns 2.8million as far back as 2010.

Who said that a man who is making building blocks is not a potential rich man?
Our prayers should be that whatever work we are engaged in doing, Almighty God should bless it.

Our problems here is that we values a graduate with degree who is earning 50k as a salary at the end of every month than a field worker who is earning around 100k from his hustling every month.

The secret of being wealthy is to know how to make money and manage it accordingly.
So, nobody should look down on a man who is dealing on building blocks as a business.
It's a great example of taking responsibility as an entrepreneur.

I still don't see what's wrong with ladies wanting the best of men in terms of finances. Why must they always label them gold diggers for wanting security for them and their children? Same way a woman who marries an artisan isn't foolish. She must have seen something in him.
The only exceptions to these are those who should marry a poor man but say no cos he is poor and those who should marry a rich man but are blinded by what they feel for the poor man. My sisters just know what is destined for you and you will be fine.
Don't be like the ugliest lady in her click who wanted a fine man cos all her friends married fine friends which made her standard become so high. Unfortunately for her the very fine men she wanted never gave her face cos no one wanted to be termed foolish for seeing fine girls and picking the ugliest of them all.

What's wrong with that is that most of them desiring rich men do nothing too. They're not hardworking too. So, they want pleasure but they hate to sweat for it. So, most of them are actually gold diggers. Rome wasn't built in a day. They should accept hardworking guys and join them to make money. Besides, most of them come from poor background, but like to make unnecessary demands.

these guys are my friends ; carlenters, bricklayers mechanics who worked for my aunt and I treat them well whenever they come arround

anytime am broke, within seconds they give me cash and one amazing thing is if they wear that rag and they dip their hands into their pocket, money must come out

fast forward to married and corporate life, av seen plenty well dressed corporate guys with fanciful wallets but empty and empty bank accts ..... only time they av money is on the 24th or when company pays big allowances.

a small a d steady income when properly managed is worth a billion (worth not equate)

If a vulcanizer inflates 20 tires a day at #50 or #100 in Some places, that is about #1k-#2k, if he fixes 10 tires per day at #200-#400or#500 in some places, that would amount to about #2k-#5k, if we take the minimum and maximum and find the mean, it would be #1k+#2k= #3k and or #2k+#5k= #7k... It is no doubt that in a moderately poor environment a vulcanizer will make #3k a day or more, they work for like 28-30 days which is give or take #90k... In a moderately rich or porche area, a vulcanizer makes in excess of #7k a day multiplied by 28-30 days will give you over #200k a month... * SOME DOCTORS* do not earn that much k so he is right to some extent... Mind you the average will be #4.5k *28-30= over #100k... Take it to the bank... I am not talking about quack vulcanizers or quack doctors mind you...

my dad worked as a bricklayer till he turned 50. tho He won contracts and sometimes work as a daily pay. and the contracts are not in millions o, only one jackpot back in 2009 I could remember. he made close to a milli erecting a 6-flat building. and he doesn't build with substandard materials for gains.

Here's what he built with his bricklaying career:

married 2 wives.

at 32, built and completed his house with 6 separate rooms for tenants.

dug a well and made a running tap water system in his compound.

has 4 children and trained them to school.

first born is an OAU graduate.

bought a small car, started building 2 selfcon flats in a space in his compound in 2016( tho work has been halted on this building at lintel level since his children are in school and need stipends)

so, never underestimate these guys doing bricklaying or tiling. they're making cool cash and moving on with their lives and families.

year 2009. In my staying here. I make good money through bricks laying. I have four kids now. I finished my 3bedroom bungalow in Ghana last 4 years ago. I invested more than 900k on cocoa and coconut farm in Ghana. Now, am not working as a bricks layer but a contractor. Do you known that 80% of buildings in villages are built by bricks layers while 30% are built by bricks layers in cities? For a example 8 flats, 2bedroom plater can course 1.1 to 1.6 million.
