Muslims generally are stubborn, the last thing they would wish for is not gathering up for jumat. This same scenario is playing up in almost every Muslim countries now. They are resisting d social distance, that's why Iran has very high covid 19 casualties almost 4000 now, and still people there are still gathering to pray. 2 Likes |

EmekaBlue: Even mecca is still on lockdown. Only if we know the veracity, how deadly and easy to spread this virus is. I know we are counting on our hot weather for the limited number of cases/spread but check it, Iran is hot, Singapore, thailand all have hot weather yet they are experiencing this virus. They will tell you that their success so far in combating this virus isnt because of there hot weather rather because they were quick to enforce a total lockdown. If we refuse lockdown at this early stage, I pray our case wouldnt be like New York but I fear. 2 Likes |

APCNig:If you don’t have evidence you keep quiet, how are they useful to Nigeria economy ? Speaking the truth is not saying negative. Lagos lockdown mosque , Mecca is on lock down. We won’t act civilize here only for some dumb north to migrate down south later in the name of “beggars” and “hustlers” to infect us with what we’ve work hard to prevent. Whatever aboki does to themselves is not my business make dem no near south later is my biggest worries 5 Likes |

APCNig:Why didn't you also state where he maintained social distancing and the picture evidence as displayed by news media? You're one of the reasons Nigeria is still this backward. What of RCCG with millions of members nationwide and other churches like Winners , CAC and Anglican who shut down churches? Why not also mention that? 1 Like |

The President's own state has no regard for his directives. The President's own Governor has no respect for his brother in Aso rock. Islam, the aunthentic global pandemic, worst than coronavirus has many breeds e.g terrorism, fanatism, hypocrisy, hatred the stock in trade of an average northern terrorist muslim. I am waiting patiently for the response of the vagabond sale out, the idiotic professor of islamic terrorism a bastard Yoruba son, Ishaq Akintola to bare his mind on this total disregard for human well being by his cohorts in the north. The dindinrin of a governor of Kastina state has no ball. He has been pressured into lifting the ban on their Friday prayers. Probably he conceded at gun point. One Nigeria is a big hoax, share the garri make everybody carry his own. You can't have one nation being administered by two different laws. Secular constitutions and Islamic terrorist tenets. The igbos have seen this a long time, I wonder what we the Yoruba are still waiting for in this entrapment. Lugard and girlfriend won't rest well. #Tulsayguyopionion #Iamtheunapologeticyorubaboy 2 Likes |

Nigeria my country,.....In a trying period like this (Coronavirus - Covid 19) that is ravaging the world. Nigeria is handling it with kid gloves. For Katsina State Government and the people of the state. I felt its ignorance and lack of foresight. What is the difference if two or three people prayed at home and gathering a large crowd of innocent souls putting their life in danger. Nigerian Goverment should take a queue from great countries like the USA, ITALY, IRAN, UK just to mentioned but a few that have all been ravaged by this pandemic. I rest my case. May God help Nigeria Amen Despite Katsina state recorded its first covid-19 case and death. Muslim clerics went ahead to approach Governor Masari and forced him to allow normal Jumat prayers. Meanwhile they also have churches there but if you read the approval letter you will see it only favours their people but this disease can spread to kill the law/abiding sensible Christains in the state and put everyone at risk What do you have to say about this? https://www.channelstv.com/2020/04/08/covid-19-katsina-govt-lifts-ban-on-friday-prayers/amp/[/quote] |
