I visit Canada and the US from time to time, but on this my last trip I could not but observe just how extremely lonely Nigerian girls are there. Why did they immigrate in the first place? What did they expect what waiting for them on the other side? A man gift wrapped in iced sugar?
They all have Youtube channels now, or Instagram channels and release video or vlogs every other day. I guess it is the easiest way to stop themselves from going crazy over the dreary loneliness.
But the problem doesn't even stop there. Normally, I would have been interested sef. But many of them are actually not so good-looking or resourceful. Too bad!
If you are a Nigerian girl thinking of immigrating to Canada, make sure you consider it hard and deep. You could end up being just as lonely and dejected. Am not kidding when I say this. If you aren't there, you have no idea how tough it can get.

She determines when and if I can see our children.
I pay her child support every month which is not a problem to me because I will still spend the money on my children if we are all still living together.
She takes all the child benefit(money) the government gives our children.

The truth is that she caught me..........and I apologized but the freedom, independence and money make most of Nigerian women to brake their Home and later live a lonely life.

In most countries, it's normal to be focused on your career as a woman. It doesn't mean you're lonely. So maybe these girls just adjusted to their surroundings and maybe they're finally happy because they live in a society where people don't expect them to get married at 25.

Just because you don't understand or agree with a culture or ideology doesn't mean that it's wrong. So just because you don't understand why they are single and career driven, doesnt mean you are right in labelling them as lonely.

A couple of reasons. They don't know how to approach, since they have never approached a man all their life. Na una Naija guys dey rush them na, lol.
Two, the white guys don't really find them attractive. Some asian men do though. Some Nigerian men also do. But because most Nigerian guys are not stable (i..e they are still working survival jobs), they are not ready to marry.
Trust me , these Nigerian girls are in serious dilemma.

Again, if you are a Nigerian girl thinking of immigrating to Canada. Think twice about it. Be sure that's what you really want.

Every diaspora thread always gets derailed at some point becos of all the desperate guys wanting to leave Nigeria so bad, they'd turn the thread to a FOREIGN VISA HELPDESK.

For the record in case most Nigerians back home don't know, every country has an official website.
The official website has all the information you need about moving to your desired country.

Secondly, there are international forums with a lot of immigrants giving you all the information you need to know about migrating to your destination or living there.

The OP has posted a topic worthy of intellectual discussion...instead every 4 lines, "sir, how can I ." or "Ma....how do I....."

The ass licking part is the part that gets to me the most. You can ask a question in the most subtle manner without seeming too desperate. Most Naija guys in diaspora detest that and they will tell you if you ask

Went to the embassy once out in VI and saw how a foreigner was talking down to Nigerians like they were scum and this was supposed to be the receptionist. A Nigerian receptionist who did not even speak the embassy's foreign language yet she got hired

Stop licking foreign ass. You are human and no white, blue, yellow or green man in a foreign soil is different from you. Just be yourself at all times.

Ass licking is the another reason why foreign countries look down on us. Becos we forever depict that slave mentality. Only the wise will learn, the stupid will only talk out their noses.

The guy already admitted he messed up. He said his wife caught him with another woman. Often most power drunk Nigerian women will dump you because many of them are targeting the child benefits from government and child support from ex-husband. I ran into a uncle-family friend I knew in Nigeria in Toronto, his wife has sent him packing. I felt so sorry for him. I also have another relative/uncle in the US in similar situation. These are like crazy situation where the women seem to want to totally finish the man. I must admit it's often the men that initially did something wrong first. But this does not have to lead to divorce except if the woman has been looking forward to it. My spouse has caught me in such situations not just once but we are still together and typically I am an extremely controlled individual (no side relationships). I think there are couple of factors, we dated for about 10 years from her teenage years in Nija before we got married and she is catholic. And per career, I am someone she always look up to. Most Nigerian women will dump.you once they are in a position you have nothing to offer them or they won't be getting some benefit from the union.

My friend lives in Canada, he said life can get quite boring & becomes a routine. He said the weather is not friendly at all.

Food is okay as lots of fish like Salmon etc. Canadians love Poutine a lot as it is eaten every where & cost of living is high especially housing as most Nigerians won’t believe this until they get to Canada.

Homes in Canada cost over C$1million to buy as funny as it might sound (via mortgage of-course).

Nigerian ladies over there know what’s up but just pretend that all is well when they come home for holidays as no much serious relationship there, a lot of Naija guys don’t send Naija babes at all which annoys them other than this he said Canada is a good country to live in if you are not the loud or lousy person

If you want to marry, then you should change that mindset of yours and go for someone that shares the same ideology as you.

What I usually tell any guy that care to listen, Never date a broke girl, a girl wouldn't date a broke guy, so why date a broke girl out of pity. If the only thing a girl offers in a relationship is sex and other things that can be outsourced like cleaning, cooking or washing, you are really short-changing yourself on the long run.

Generally, it is not advisable for women to focus on money too much n neglect marriage thinking she can always find marriage later..... Such ideology can work for men n not women. It is good for women to locate marriage and start pursuing money with her husband than doing it alone. What op is saying happens virtually everywhere including Nigeria here. It's not just Nigerian women, it's a black problem. Once they have a job some assume they can be independent. In reality they can but that's if they wrongly assume that the basis of a union between a man and a woman should be determined mainly by financial status.

That's what messed up African American families in the US. One of the past presidents deliberately came up with social service support that give benefits and housing to jobless black single mothers which encourage a lot of black single mothers to have children out of wedlock. That's how "baby-mamas" was invented. The whiteman know that once you messed up the black family unit, the entire black community is messed up. A white guy I ran into even told me about the American president that came up with the social benefit system for single mothers. Can't remember his name now.
