lefulefu:Get my point, women are supposed to handle the kitchen whether Africa or western culture but feminism is turning things around making it a 50/50 thing. It's not a bad thing to support your wife I can cook and wash for my wife but the problem is when she wants to make it an obligation. Some things are just natural, just like it's a norm for men to protect their families no matter the size he's the kids and wife still count on him to defend them. |

If you wanna understand a Blackman.. Read "what is wrong with a Blackman" by Matthew Ashimolowo. Play at distance. If you're the kind that fall in love too much. Extend it to the devil not a Blackman else you'll know slavery survived in Africa because blackmen sold blackmen |

safarigirl:Abroad is a hard place for a Nigerian woman, the competition is 2much cos where you wear ur Brazilian hair, there are real Brazilian women with their hair. The only thing you can put 4ward as a bargaining chip is your character and expectations if not you are on your own! |

IHate9jerianss:Thank you very much,If the African Americans were serious and had their Game up,Nigerians won't even have the opportunity to troop in enmasse and make it in US if the African Americans there were seriously up and doing and them now complaining that 77% of Black Doctors in US are Nigerians shows to you the extent of how Nigerians are go Getter's as well as how the African Americans live their lives. Its not as if they are still colonized up till now oo,but one yeye African american will be doing low waist and wearing chains called bling bling upandan and u tell me that's a sign of being focused and responsible. Tufiakwa/Olowon Maje/Allah Ya kiyaye I cannot come and go to America and go and start looking at Uche's face nah. The painful thing about all these is the fact that some useless black Men and women their, instead of them to struggle for their daily livelihood,is how to hold guns and commit all sorts of crime is what they place their priorities on, I don't blame them sha why because during transatlantic slavery, some people that committed crimes were part of the people sold into slavery as punishment,so it is quite revealing why America's prison is congested with African Americans, some where following their ancestors footsteps right back in time Not to talk of the Lesbians,Gays,Bisexual and Transsexuals African Americans have mastered the art of doing over there which is a non African thing. why won't some of them be very overweight and obese, they taught its only because of their diet not knowing their ancestors were cross bred with giant and heavy black men with strong and fertile women so as to produce strong and giant offsprings to help their white Masters in their plantation where as the weak black men weren't allowed to mate with strong black women in other not to have runts (Weak Offsprings) as at then. Some of these African Americans are just short out of standards whereas some are doing well in other spheres of life. |

SweetCunt97:I have been following u lately n now I know where u are coming from with all those things u say about men n marriage. U were really pampered a lot n it makes u see things d western way rather than the African way,I am beginning to understand the reason my father opposed d idea of house help cos he believes it will make us lazy n see normal things from different perspectives cos we ain't used to it My sister if it's time to marry don't marry an African man to avoid stories that touch so u can go abroad n pick anyone with your ideology cos majority of African man will say no to these ideologies |

yassinattah:well, I would like to say that the USA and the west offer the same opportunity to you as blacks, where U as a Nigerian is Hungry for success which was the main reason U migrated you will excel more, I do not agree with the notion of jealousy cos the western people are always contempt with what the have, they are averagely not greedy. everyone minds their business! |

Great read, you are a patient person;I will never try to be with anyone or group that does not want me. Anywhere one goes and see black people outside Africa, chances are they will hardly welcome you,you will have to make real effort to get them to be your friends but most white people will welcome you. Its really sad how many black people in the US behave towards other black people from Africa especially. In one's own best interest better be with the people that are happy to have you around than those looking to make one less of oneself in anger of whatever happened to their ancestors as him it was my doing. To hell with such people! |

oshaosha2014:I'm telling you. They want the guy to be the sole electrician of the house, security, lifter of heavy stuffz , financier and also equally participate in chores and kitchen activities... I saw a video recently where some white women were complaining bitterly about the pains of "equality"... Let me not say the rest. As much as I agree with some ideals of feminism, the current group of feminist especially in Nigeria are pathetic ... |

This is applicable to any other countries you have Nigerians. Like you said, loneliness in a foreign country has nothing or little to do with gender. I agree with you on how Nigerians abroad view relationship. I think the Underlying issues here is trust wrt relationship. Nigerian students abroad hardly trust each. Instead of helping each other, they either envy or compete among themselves . They also gossip around. Folks in Deutschland can relate very well here., loneliness and our girls shooting for German guys. ... |

missimelda01:The most important thing in a relationship is character. There is someone out there for you, but when you meet him, will your bad character chase him away? Some girls with terrible character will say "if he leaves, he wasn't meant for you", rather than looking at themselves and fixing their ill attitude |
