I told my friend at work the other day that I wanted to go the Asian store to buy yam. We both usually shop there. And she let me know that two people who work there tested positive for the virus recently and they didn’t know (possibly spreading it too) until they got sick.

So I’m gonna sit at home swallow my craving. No am shopping for me for now. cry

What happens when you exhaust your pantry?

Ehnnn, I tried another batch of the chocolate chip cookies, this time I added little chocolates and cut in chunk size so they don't melt easily and reduced the heat as you suggested. The result...

Nothing do you boss.

I find your versatility in the kitchen quite fascinating. You might not believe it, but i joined nairaland just so i could access your village diary.

But just like d isoko lady, tomatoes in owoh soup is a first for me. Starch is added as thickener, in place of Garri you listed. There's even a special palm oil for it that looks like d bottom oil you mentioned.

I have zero issues with your ingredients. Its just that i fear d presence of tomatoes takes away the nativeness of the soup. But then i guess part of being a good chef is the ability to play around recipes.

Akposy you don chop owoh with tomatoes before?

Tomatoes in owoh soup is new to me as well, I'm Urhobo. But I use garri as thickner as well as my mum but my grandmother uses starch. Perhaps the "tomatoes version' is for benins.

Lol my sister genuinely asked if the first picture was taken on a construction site when I asked her if she'd eat this meal in such an environment
