She is a nonentity and same time very selfish. She agreed the children are her life and went ahead to commit suicide leaving them behind to suffer. What will happen to her if she walk out of the marriage and live for her children?
What kind of existence is that? Living just for someone else?

Why kill yourself lady.

I've been living hungry for a couple of days, begging on nairaland for help, I never see any helper, yet am still optimistic for a better day ahead. Why take the life you can't give.
Life's unfair, but we will scale through. Help me guys, never thought of this in my life.

For those abusing me of buying data to browse, hope you've heard of Airtel and Mtn freemode before. Don't just judge and make a conclusion of what you don't have clue about.

Have you ever been depressed or suffered from chronic depression or mental illness? Its so easy to judge others.

You obviously haven't seen depressed people who go around like everything is perfect. Who better to notice any sign than their family and loved ones? Yet they often say they never knew it could happen. But you are right. Mental health is still a joke here and a lot of stigma is attached to it.
Those are signs. It must not be the individual that will recognize it.
Simple things as not eating, or eating too much, more than usual, or not sleeping, can reveal some signs. Closed ones can encourage you to speak up or they can worsen it by mockery. Therefore, a lot of sensitisation needs to be done in regards to mental health.

These are not signs specific of suicidal ideation. You cant see a person doing these and the next thing you think is that the person is suicidal. Yes some are very obvious but not with subtle signs like these. And they make very great effort to conceal their plans.

Esther Frank Odia!!! Why You were a jovial personality but the thoughts of marriage beclouded your judgment. A marriage you could not handle in the end.

Better to have left the traumatic marriage than end your life after birthing two kids... The mofo of a husband would care less and move on.

Damn. I still can't believe this.....

Most people do not understand that postpartum depression is real, a lot of women suffer from it shortly after having babies, if not well managed can lead to stories like this....depression knows no education or man, if she had some help it might not have lead to this. May her soul rest in peace

When situations in life get very difficult, start by standing back from the situation,
distance yourself from it, it gives clarity and a better perspective.

If it is a toxic person, cut them off...at least until the poison they infused you with has left your veins, only time and introspection can achieve this. Do not contact them and block all avenues of them contacting you.

If it is a toxic place or situation , change location...temporarily first...pay a week-long visit to a friend or relative who knows what you are going through, so they can support you; if your temporary location is in the same city, better... so your work is not affected. Being busy and having a structured day helps a mind in turmoil.

All kinds of drama happens that makes life hard, even unbearable, sometimes it is people that cause it, at other times it is a fluke situation like this Corona virus. We have to deal with it one moment/step at a time.

Life is hard, unpredictable and beautiful all at once, but it is a gift worth it's weight in Gold!
You killed it

Love for my kids would never make me contemplate suicide.. 2years ago I was swindled of over 12m.. I kept thinking the opportunity cost of this hard earned money.. With time,my blood pressure rose and I started having palpitations and heart pain.. When I noticed this,..I stopped thinking about the money, stopped making efforts to recover it...which I was even spending more money on..

I just woke up amidst one fitful sleep, thumped myself on the head after looking at my beautiful kids. If I kill myself over some lost money, who will take care and give them the best life they deserve...who will look after my beautiful wife and even my aged parents.. That's how I swallowed that bitter pill, picked up from scratch ,gained focus and resolved all my health probs

How can u claim to love people and yet have a mind to remove yourself permanently from them??

Watch how the man will marry again and those kids be treated as second class..

God bless you sir. She claimed to love them yet she abandoned them. I pity the kids

I wasn't referring to them as suicidal signs, rather psychological or depressive symptoms which close ones can see, and help out whichever way.

I still can't figure out why taking one's soul is a solution to the mountainous problem.

Don't be too sure. Sometimes love leads us to do stupid things. Have you ever hurt seeing people around you suffer cause you cannot provide for them. Who knows whether she doesn't even have food for the children in this lockdown, and yet she has a husband who "lives abroad". The fear of overseas husband is the beginning of all wisdom. It can frustrate sha.
but she has a neighbour she should have complained to.. To be sincere she is wicked... It pains me oooooooo... Imagine that 3 months old baby... Have you witness a baby constantly crying and yet can't tell what is wrong with him or her... You have to do guess work.
