Yes, China's land grabs has made soured relations with Japan but that's another issue altogether. The true belligerent is China's head of state who has a conservative no nensense alienate-your-neighbours attitude to things.

I suspect once he's gone, China will return to its peaceful-rise policy which the present head has thrown out through the window.

I doubt it's biological warfare. Even if it is, that's not why Japan wants some of its manufacturers out of China.

Japanese factories in China supply component parts to many companies in Japan. When the Chinese lock downed, this denied manufacturers of these parts hammering production.

The Japanese manufacturers now want to spread their risks by moving some production out of China

America too has been devastated by the virus but hasn't asked its manufacturers to pullout. Japan for now, seems the line wolf. It feels overexposed in China hence the urge to spread their wings elsewhere.

Do you really know world economy in calling Japan an ant? Mind you china's economy has only been fuelled by western companies moving production there because of cheap labour. If that is reversed then it will be the end of China. That is the reason China has been running about providing aids in order to restore relations. Try to understand world politics pls.

The reason why companies are moving to China is as a result of it's cheap labour and infrastructures.

Despite the fact that Africa has cheap labour, lack of infrastructures, insecurity and govt policies won't make these companies move there bases here.

How will that affect China...

Japan better get back to their huts.
