My fellow Nigerians, please calculate the money you would have spent on flexing and carrying babe this lockdown period, and use it to buy treasuries or some other bonds. This applies to ladies too. Don't be tempted into overspending when the lockdown ends.

Imagine, if you can put 100k away, it will bring you 12k/year (1k/month) for the foreseeable future. You never have to hustle for that 1k/month ever again. Don't ask me, ask your bank for treasury bonds (and not fixed deposit).

State and Local government workers, paid employees of multinationals, local conglomerates, Embassy workers, international NGOs. Foreign mission staffs, international agencies, all these groups are on paid leave. They are just having the best of rest.

So it's been a bad two weeks, what started as a 'somehow i'll manage' has quickly turned into a very dire situation. Paying part rent and settling bills shortly before the lockdown did have me getting into isolation with very little left on me. I haven't had any food to eat more than 24hrs now. Truth is we don't have Covid outbreak. What is happening are pockets of infections not anymore than testing who has malaria .In any disease , there are carriers and there are infective ones . We don't have Covid infection in Nigeria and in Africa at large
Most cases are those who had come in with the disease and have also infected others. Even at that they are not showing symptoms
