Thanks ma.
mayluv:

Worry can cause you not to lactate well so try not to be bothered about the flow. Relax and continue taking your liquids. Always put you baby to breast as much as you can cos the more the baby sucks, the more breastmilk your body receives signal to produce with adequate rest. Sooner or later your milk will flow well. Also, if you cannot keep up, continue mixing with formula. It doesn't make you any less of a good mummy. E hugs

Thank you ma, please will the soyabeans powder be added while preparing the pap on the fire or after the pap is done?
Awesomemama:

How much water do you take?
The importance of water cannot be over emphasized
Drinking a lot of water helps me, and adding soyabeans powder to my pap n oats helps a lot too.
Stay hydrated, worry less, get as much rest as you can and you'll be fine.

You can add it after the pap is done
Noticed it makes my pap watery if I add it while preparing the pap. So I add it after the pap is done.

Hi mamas, im a very worried mom. My 2 year old started stuttering all of a sudden, and it seems to get worse each day. It started last week and now, he has to close his eyes stiff his head and some body parts to pronounce words he pronounced well in the past. Im so worried because i cant seem to figure out the cause. Nobody stutters in both families ie mine and his dad's so its not like its hereditary pro something.
I have goggled a few stuff about but i need mamas with real life experience to help me with this. How long will i have endure this? Will he ever go back to talking normally? Is it some sort of sickness or lack of vitamins? So many questions to ask... I cant seem to wrap my head around this.
Don't know how he'll cope in school after this corona ish stops and they resume because he wasn't like that before the compulsory break. I dont want him to grow up feeling inferior.
Medical mama, experienced mamas, mamas that have heard stories or know someone that has gone through this before please help me.

Mama, post this on 'Ask the pediatrician' on Facebook. The doctors there will explain.

You can actually express the milk out.
To reduce the ache.
Then put some cabbage in the freezer and wear inside your bra.

Good morning.
It's very normal.
Both my older kids did this.
Like went from talking so well to stuttering.
For my first child, I actually cried. I cried because 2 of his father's siblings stammer. I cried so much, I embarrassed both of them cheesy
The second child I was more prepared.
Just keep talking to him.
He might be imitating someone.
As long as he had a clear speech before, it will come back.
A boy in my class does similar thing. Every time we sit with his mom for PTC that's the only thing his mom complains about.
Keep talking to your boy often.
Help me to form his speech in his head before he says it out.
Tell him to repeat the sentences without the stutter.
Don't show him your fear or else he'll clam up and stop talking, which would be worse.
Don't laugh at him.

Good luck.
If you don't observe any changes then you may go to the hospital when this coronavirus issues dies down.

Good morning mama..pls i have a question..
Did anyone no if i can get a boarding sch for a 3yrs old child, reason best known to me..is it possible..pls i need a reply.. Thanks.

Hi mama.
I don't think there's any boarding school opened at this time of coronavirus matter.

Secondly, I think your baby is safest with you unless you don't think so. Then I think you should find a family member, friend or even neighbor that can watch the child for some time while you sort yourself out.

But are there actual boarding schools for that age group?

Some primary schools with boarding facilities sometimes make exceptions for kids that young due to family issues, mental problem from either of the parents or sudden death.

Why not get baby formulae and feed baby till mom starts lactating. In the meantime, mom should continue putting baby to breast as the suckling reflex stimulates the brain to produce milk

Get formula. Glucose water has no nutritional value.
