Is it not instructive that Jesus used an 'unbeliever' to demonstrate good works acceptable in God's eyes. As christians we are called to show love to others irrespective of tribe or religion. Nowhere in the bible are we told to limit our charity to the church. Paul only suggested that the church is a good starting point.
