1. Read the thread from page 7000
2. When creating the contact, tap the profile icon and add a photo.
3. Is your sim card full? Or did you forget to tap the "Save to Google" drop down when creating a new contact
4. With a DS3/4 controller, you don't need Six Axis, just pair it using Bluetooth and you're good to go.

Next time, before you rush into decision, a simple Google search can answer your questions. What device were you using before the Redmi Note 8?

Are you the only one not aware of EU rulings. All glob version now comes with Google Dailer if call recording is important to you get a third party app while you wait till when Xiaomi/Google will make it available later this year.

Sorry for butting in, but AMOLED screens are not great for gaming, even in the PC scene and are not recommended for extended periods of use at max brightness. I play Mobile Legends around 5hrs a day and I've had PUBG Mobile sprees over 7hrs at a time. With situations like this, I'd personally experience burn in within a month of use.

This is same for devices with indisplay FP scanners and those that unlock their phones 500 times in one day. Lol.

If it were to be an LCD, I'd attribute it to drops and cracks on the display. And once you use the device at high temperatures most of the time, speaking from experience here (f..k Transsion), screen burn in begin to appear along the cracks.

I know this is not an answer to the question, just possible causes of "burn-in" I've experienced and noticed from AMOLED and LCD panels.

I am confused sir, what are you saying?

For 4, that's PS3 Controller or PS4 controller. They're called DualShock (DS) controllers. If you're trying to use those 1.5k controllers, they don't work. With a PS4 controller, just pair it up using Bluetooth. It works like a charm on CoD Mobile on the Redmi Note 7...slight input lag tho

Lol. There's nothing wrong with using a device for 2 years, but you're advised to upgrade every 2 years for mainly 3 reasons.

1. Smartphone tech evolves every 6 months. For example, we'll 144MP sensors by the end of H1 and 192MP sensors by the end of Q3.

2. Android updates. Most manufacturers, started by Samsung btw, offer 2 years max of Android updates even if the device can handle 3 years or more.

NB: Android updates here means Android versions. A device that ships with Android 9 will most likely not get Android 12. Security updates will still be sent on a quarterly basis though.

3. Android source code changes e.g Project treble which is being implemented from Android 11 which makes older devices near impossible to update since they don't have a dual system partition necessary.

well I'm guilty of all except high brightness, well oled screen display was great but I think its time to stick with LCD

Use another phone to take a picture of your phone. Hope you don't use your phone very often with full brightness and under direct sunlight?

What about using the phone while charging it?

Allow your phone to charge, it is not so much advisable

Wrong info from GSMARENA who have a penchant for not updating their specifications sheet unlike Kimovil.com

That's Mi contact not Google contact app/Dailer.

Still surprised people still save contacts to SIM when phones can get stolen and the stress of moving contacts when you get a new phone

Yeah, OLEDs are great for the amazing contrast and black levels, great viewing angles and good for content creation.
