Please as the primary applicant, do I need to write the LoEs meant to address issues in the accompany spouse’s section on behalf of my spouse or will he write and sign it by himself? I got confused on how to treat this.

For a friend actually she has a Bsc and pgd, Wes requested for waec when I was doing my Bsc evaluation, so she wants to find out what she’ll have to send if she’s asked to send hers as well.

It's better to let him write the LOE for himself.
Since he's also responsible for all the documents he's submitting.

Guess the issue of O Level has stopped.
She may only need to evaluate PGD nd Bsc.

Can you pls send me the number of your contact in Law School? 08053959919 is my number.

Ebuncrown:
Hiya, so the thing is I paid for 2degrees with CES. Both LLB and BL so I can have two or more degrees since IQAS is in hold. My LLB transcript has been sent received by CES but the law school transcript is yet to be sent due to the lockdown. Evaluating your BL means you’d have points for two or more degree. Quite expensive tho. About 520 CAD for both. If you can wait for IQAS, May 11 is almost here. You’d get professional points with them.

I have a contact in Lagos campus exams and record. He’s the one who helped with my transcript. Awaiting DG’s signature.

Hello, in response to your question below, I used Ieltsliz, ieltsadvantage, The IELTS Listening Test on Youtube, Career zone ielts institute Moga India also on Youtube. I also downloaded sample answer sheets from the official ielts website (this helped in preparing me for the real deal, time management and all), did the available practise tests and that was it. Total prep time took about three weeks, since I was juggling this alongside my 9-5. Results came out as L-9, S - 8.5, R- 8.5, W- 7, Overall- 8.5.

P.S: I didn't practise writing until the day before the exam and I regret it till date. Do not make the mistake of underrating writing!! For speaking, just read through frequently asked speaking questions online, once you can get past the accent of the examiner, you'd be just fine! I got these pages based on recommendations here, thank you all for your contributions. Goodluck!

Egungun be careful, na highway you dey go grin. This counsel of yours would lead to straight rejection. Someone's application got rejected for this same thing recently. Don't always follow the advice you get from that Twitter handle. They are not the ones making the decision on PR applications.

Please house has anyone experienced this? My husband wrote ielts (computer based) over 6 weeks ago. Results were viewed online but as I send this m, TRF hasn't been received. Mail was sent to BC and the only response from them was the query has been directed to the relevant quarters. This was a week and a half ago. What else can one do. Thanks

Gurus in the house all I see is CIMA and BCS as certificate to boost CRS, please is there any other short course that can be taken in HR.

UNILAG HRDC won't start until some time in July and it's a nine month program, I can't wait.

I feel CIMA is all about calculations and I'm not superb with calculations, I don't have a background in accounting, finance or banking. All I have is a BSc in psychology.

BCS has its next in take September and I'll be 30 in Oct can't afford to loose any point.

Please what certified course can I take between now and September so I'll have time to prepare for IELTS.

Suggestions please.

Please do you have an idea Unilag HRDC cost and timeline.. Thanks.

I wrote IELTS on 7th March 2020 paper based in PH, view the result online on 20th and went to BC office in PH for the TRF on 25th but was turned back due to covid19. The following morning which was Thursday, I got the posted TRF from UPS.

Make use of the contacts provided somewhere in this thread to follow up. It shouldn't take this long to have it out. Also, the offices are closed so you can have no resolution as of now.

Guys. My IELTS exam is next month (hopefully it's not postponed). Hoping to max out the scores but I find it difficult to access my progress with my practices (i.e Reading and Listening). My scores vary so much ,I still get scores ranging between 37-29 with Cambridge practice Tests.. Please people, especially those that have aced it, Is this normal ?

How will like to know where I stand with these practice tests.

I'll share a summary of my study plan/ materials used.

READING/LISTENING
I used Cambridge IELTS books. I think book 10 to 14 . You can get more and practice with them under real exam conditions. I also did Academic reading tests as their passages are more difficult.

SPEAKING
I practiced with topics from Ielts Liz. She releases recent topics from time to time. I got a topic I had rehearsed earlier. For me, the goal was to keep on talking to show fluency until I was stopped. In all, just be relaxed on the test day as it's a language you've been conversing in before now. No right or wrong responses, just Speaking skill is tested.

WRITING
For this, I used slickwrite(You can google it) to help with my grammar. I used sample essays written by tutors and compared the structure with mine. I also printed sample answer sheets and wrote my as much essays and letters as I could on them so I could have an idea of the word count on the test day. You should also learn about various essay structures as the response needed for an opinion essay is different from that of a discussion essay. For me ielts advantage explained this very well(look up Ielts essay structures by Ielts advantage). Also paragraph properly so the examiner can see the coherence. On the exam day, I started with task 2 as it has more marks and of course more time allocation.

I hope this helps and all the best!

P.S: there's a thread for IELTS, I'm sure you can gets lots of advise and materials from there.
