FINESHIRT:
Those who have excess to eat probably think hunger does not exist.
Exactly my thought
It angers me when some folks on this forum conderms people who flout the lock down order to quench their hunger.

Abeg, if you know the man called lord lugard, or you're going to meet him soon, pls tell him that the failed experiment he made in 1914 will never allow him to rest in peace.

But come to think of it, ain't trying to justify the hunger in the land or anybody , however, I believe it's 1 thing that would kill someone.

May the soul of the dead rest in peace.

I don't believe this.
Mods should please verify.

A person who's extremely hungry to point death wouldn't attempt to mix cement talk more carrying it.
Also if he fainted am sure there's more than enough time for the locals around him to rivive him with water and some snaks rather than letting him die and take pics.
Even the food sellers or snaks sellers around there would offer him freee food.

Mods should verify posts pls it's hard to believe..
don't mind those useless bloggers peddling false news.. maybe the poor guy was sick or had an underlying condition that caused him to die

RIP to the young man. It is obvious hunger was not the only thing responsible for his death because he had been working at the site and probably been paid before today. Yes they get paid daily and must have had some money to buy food. This headline is sensational and the person who made the post is simply chasing clout. Have we considered other factors like performance enhancing drugs? Not that he was unemployed na. RIP once again.

I wonder oo.How are they sure its hunger?

Before the lockdown, FAO and WHO predicted that World's population will increase by 2 billion making a total of 9 billion by 2030. Corona has proven them wrong, we will be 9 billion in 9 months time.

This is possible, but that doesn't make the news true.
I don't trust this news, since it's coming from a Facebook post.
Nigerian Facebook usere are used to sharing misinformation. But that doesn't make this news true or false.

That is good advice. How does one hang in, in the face of obvious hunger? That is the big question yawning for answer.
Just imaging! Hang in on an empty stomach. Hunger kills literally.

Since you know the other possibilities and the dead man in question; why didn't you create this thread first. ITK. angry cool

This lockdown is actually preparing us for that day because we've now realized that we can actually stop whatever we're doing and still survive 28 days with little in our pockets

People are typing comforting words..only when the person is DEAD. These same sets of people do NOT help the living in need, even if they have in surplus. This is the first time I'm using these words: you suck y'all!

Op how did you know he died of hunger? How do you know he didn't have some underlying health malady, or died from exhaustion and cardiac failure?

Even desk workers can keel over.

All over the world people slump and die for no apparent reason, doesn't mean their country should be blamed for it.

Coronavirus fatalities- 12
Security fatalities-38
Hunger fatalities- 1000

The masses can only feel it. The government is blind. God is in heaven. Satan is in hell. The truth is we can only live through: our voices to show our displeasure; our feet for marching in a serious protest; our hands to fight against these oppressions; our brains to reason logically and expressively; our mind in unity and our eyes for optimism. But the problem is we have many Judas Iscariots and lily-livered among us.

How do you fight a disease with malnourished citizens. Having us hustle to feed and feed well to boost our immune system will be better than locking us up hungry. Even prisoners in Guantanamo bay feed better than most Nigerians now.
