Back to the sender. Are you in pain because of my mention? If you are part of the evening newspaper I'm talking about, must you respond in an uncultured manner. It is obvious that sense has left you

Damn!! This is why women will quickly conclude that men are scum.

Meanwhile, did anyone give reasons why a family should not play board games together? That is practically unheard of.

Many parents work so hard to make ends meet and sometimes this takes a toll on family time.

Its a struggle to spend time with the family and they see playing a board game as the least of their worries.

They don’t know the reasons why they should play board games as a family.

Engaging in such activity can be their best bet to relax, bond with the kids, as well as teach life skills.

There are so many reasons why children should be introduced to board games.

But when it is played as a family, its many amazing benefits is the icing on the cake.

See the benefits here https://successowl.com/play-board-games-family/

Good for you.Brothers and sisters pls help a fellow nairalander.Lack and hunger wan kill me.I tried to get food stuffs through covid aid but it wasn't successful.I know this are hard times for everyone but pls if you have enough to spare pls help a brother out.Its not that I'm lazy but my finances took a very huge hit due to burial issues for my father late last year.I rather beg and be insulted than to be a member of a cult group or a robbery gang and harm my fellow Nigerians.Pls anything even if it is 900 to add to the remaining cash in my account. And I pray God will keep us safe and healthy through this dark times.God bless you.I would please forward my account details if you are touched to bless me as I have nothing to hide.A beggar has no choice.Thank you

Guy, where are you based in naija? What is your profession? Do a thorough search for emails connected to me (don't send nairaland request) and send me an email so we can take it from there.

welcome to earth.
now I understand the Yoruba hymnn which we used to sing in my grandmothers church back in the days in the early 90s that goes like this (translation)

There's no friend like Jesus
Jesus is the only true and unconditional friend
Human Friends may disappoint or betray you
However Jesus will always be there for you

Chorus: Jesus the Friend that can never forget me
True friend
A Friend that sticks with me in all seasons
Hallelujah Jesus can never forget me

the lockdown should not affect your wedding unless you want unnecessary showoff.

Exactly my point. As a matter of fact, this is the best time to get married. Saves the couple the unnecessary cost.

This is only one side of the story... Who knows if it's a case of mistaken identity (her in-law to be talking about someone else who bares same name) or past/dissolve marriage... Pls OP confirm the story before making a final decision.

Speechless...The bride should find out if the man and the supposed first wife were legally married.

If No,then she should have a rethink or better still have things work out her own way...I wish her the Best of luck

Should one even try to work anything out with someone who is capable of keeping smfn dt important away frm his fianceé...

See eeh,we are yet to hear the man's side of the story..

He might not be legally married (Via church things "wedding"wink to that first one...so he needed to wed this new one and make it official

U're right, I'm never quick to draw conclusions either.
If this story is however true, he shd av made d lady knw abt 'it', whether or nt he's legally married to 'her'. In fact, details abt all past r.ships shd be divulged to ur prospective spouse in a normal situation bt d rate at which ppl 'explore' these days makes them peg d body count limit to 2.

He had a wife before and so what?
What if he was not legally married or what if he had a horrible experience with the marriage and never wanna discuss it again to avoid emotional trauma?

This story is vague. The lady is stupid for taking the issue too seriously without discussing it first with her man unless what she heard about the alleged marriage had other issues associated with it.

For such an old man, you reason like a child.

If you believe i am an old man then you better start seeing sense in what i write.

I repeat many ladies are better of as second wife. I can't explain this to a toddler like you. My advice to you is to have decorum and a little respect so you won't end up a side dish to a married man which is even worse than a second wife.

Christy8906:

I think you reasoning from your anus, people like don't even have the guts to talk to a lady.

Smh..

All you girls that come online to start ranting and abusing people because they gave an opinion believe me or not, you may never ever find a man to even friend you let alone think of getting married to you...WHY? because the first sign of intellectual stuntedness and extremely low intelligent quotient is when you start getting abusive because another person gave an opinion.

Furthermore please let me ask..what exactly is wrong in being a second wife? Are many ladies not dating married men which is far worse than being a second wife?

I have learnt to look away from ladies on nairaland who think their beauty or curves is good enough to make any man stay faithful to them. Nothing can make a man who chooses to be with another woman stay with you even if you are the most beautiful lady in the world. It is more pathetic that many married ladies have been relegated to the position of single mothers even when they are still in their matrimonial homes and thinking they are still married.

Don't ever judge a guy who decides to have another wife, most of them have their personal reasons.

Ladycewhy:
Did you even read ? Now let me gist you and cure your ignorance, a lady from Delta was engaged to be married some years ago only to find out her fiance was a married man with two kids ,turns out his parents told him they didn't see him as married cos he didn't marry from their tribe so everyone in the man's family was in on it , it was a friend who saw her wedding card that alerted her.
Sounds surreal right? Inside life .

Una wey never see things go dey come online dey spew trash.

I tell you again that most ladies usually know something is not right from the beginning but they always choose to be in self-denial. And yes i read her story very well and it is even more pathetic that she is acting based on what she heard...what if what she heard is not true, what if the guy does not even see himself as ever married whilst his family members might be trying to impose a lady on him? You ladies always put crazy emotions in your actions.

I can't explain more than this.

You should actually fear the type of men you choose. Or the type of men you allow yourself to be attracted to.

The best thing that can happen to you in life is to be alive, postpone all socials , it is unfortunate that our government did not come out with reality , an effective lockdown is not less than six 6 weeks considering an incubation periods of 5 -14 days before the disease manifest. The first set will manifest by the end of first 2 weeks those they infected will probably end theirs by the end of another second week if there is proper containment
