Good afternoon

@Luckymama
@Justmellow
@Frankrobbn 1
@Mcobex
And other gurus I forget to mention.

My uncle that bears the same surname with me gave me a bank statement of closing acct of 300, 000K, with a credit balance of 2million. Where as, my School One year tuition is 6million naira and the living expenses is $10,000.

Please, should I use him as my sole sponsor or should I use my maternal Aunt's Statement of account that runs in millions as a co-sponsor.

N.B- My Maternal Aunt doesn't bear the same surname with me.

PLEASE, I need your candid piece of advice cuz I'm in dilemma.

Thanks.

your fund is too small

Hi just mellow good afternoon, please can I use my brother in law as my sponsor,though he is helping my father control the business because they have been working together for long now.

Hello Francejaik,

Your funds is insufficient. If you feel your aunty is more capable then go ahead to use her. However, if you desire, you can (indirectly) hint on her financial availability so people can easily advise you.

All the best

Hello house, trust we are all keeping safe. Please I need your opinion. Today makes my application 7 weeks old, which is the TAT on Canada website for processing Nigerian applications. Early march my medical changed to passed, after some time, it changed back to we do not need any medical at the moment story. I was planning on sending contacting the Kenya team today for update. However, yesterday I received my BVL.
What does this mean and will you advise that I should still send them an email for update on my application?

Thank you house as you share your experience.

Please go ahead and use ur brother-in-law. Just make sure u state why he's spending so much on you and throw light on your relationship with him over the years. For the record, I used my brother-in-law and got approval this February. Nothing is impossible with CIC. Just believe God.

Good evening house,
Please I would like to know where the LOE(letter of explanation) should be attached. Cause I read some online articles, while some said you could place them in different sections to explain any situation, my line of thought was that there’s a general LOE/statement and I don’t know which section this general one should be attached ?
Also, I’ll appreciate if I can get sample LOEs from any of you kind Sirs/Mas. My email address is chisomokolie10@gmail.com.
Thank you all very much.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Cflow10: 6:05pm On Apr 17, 2020
I have one additional question.. is the LOE different from the SOP?... if yes, whivh section should it be attached to ?

In view of the bolded, you have nothing to be worried about since your account has been uploaded and your biometrics enrollment details are available on your application.

In the meantime, you can enquire about the status of your application considering your application has exceeded the standard processing times. You can do so by contacting Nairaobi Visa office via Email -nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca.
Also raise a CSE via THE NAIROBI WEB FORM.

It will end in praise.

I was told to do this. But when checking my dashboard, my agent didn't upload the explanation letter why there was a charge Back.
Please provide an explanation as to why there was a fee chargeback on your application. This must be received at this office by: 2019/10/17

Is there a need submitting the explanation letter through webform or i should let it be?

Good evening bro. How are you doing? hope you are staying safe out there.

I was approved in February & subsequently received my stamped last month before the lockdown. I need proper and thorough guidance about life in Canada. I will be going to halifax, nova Scotia in fall 2020. I have a few questions:

1) On arrival in Canada, should I live closer to school or closer to my part-time work place? I want to take my studies very seriously cos that is my only ticket to PR while working the 20 hours/week. Please I need ur candid advice.
2) Tuition & LE won't be a problem, My plan was finding a room in a house and moving into a studio or one bedroom when my wife &child arrive through SOWP as I intend applying for them 2 months after my resumption?
3) My budget for housing when I arrive is 450-650, then whenever my family arrive 600-700 for a one bed room apartment if I can find. Please advise?
4) Finally, whats the pattern of study over there? More assigments and less lectures or more practicals ? Cos in naija we are used to theory theory & theory. Lol

Thanks & looking forward to your reply.

@ everyone
Good morning house,
I have a lot of questions regarding the online application, I would have appreciated if I could get any of the gurus number here either on the group or by mail and sort everything via a 5 minutes phone call. Anyway, I’ve decided to drop a question thread here to help me get some clarification on my issues. I would really appreciate getting answers to them kind Sirs/Mas
1) in which section of the online application are the additional documents meant to be uploaded (like additional certifications, birth certificate, sop, police character reports and so on)?
2) LOEs(letter of explanations) are they meant to be attached to the sections in whivh you have an explanation to give, or should you give these explanations in your sop? ( for example you want to explain your relationship to your sponsor and show how he can foot the bill and other things) in which section should this be included in?
3) Lastly I have a passport that expires in September, since I have a fall admission, I pray to have left the country by September by God’s grace.. would it be more advisable to review the passport before submitting or to use the existing one?
Thank you all very much as you attempt to help me.

My brother, the LOE should be uploaded to the client information section while other supporting documents should come after it like employment letters, transcripts, nysc etc. Are you a first time applicant? PM me for a sample guide for LOE. Cheers

From info obtained on this thread, I believe after your 44,000 CAD is subtracted he should have a substantial balance but this depends:
If the sponsor is your immediate family(mom, dad or sibling) and has good source of income, balance won't be an issue. Also how many dependents does this sponsor have? Will sponsoring you affect his personal welfare or his dependents if his has any? What is the relationship btw you two? And why is he bringing out such a huge sum of money to sponsor you? All these are queries that need to be answered. I believe the more experienced ones on this thread would shed more light on what i have said. Cheers.

It is almost impossible to secure Master's admission in Canada with a Nigerian PGD. Your best bet is to apply for a PGD in Canada that would serve as a smooth transition to your master's.
