Siemens a series ,samsung bluescreen/yellow screen, and Nokia phones plenty around 2001

Them fit collect am for in person too

You just want talk for the sake of it. Let me school you a bit. Nokia phones plenty 2001? Let's say around 2002, only few big Nigerians were able to afford the Nokia blueface and the likes, while the money of SIM card alone was enough to feed the whole family of an average Nigerian. Phones/SIM became affordable for everyone around 2003/2004/2005.
2005 upwards was the time most average students were able to get phones.
What about school fees scratch cards in 2001? Were there scratch cards in 2001? Do schools even have websites then? That was the time internet was still very young, with only yahoo messenger popular then. Internet was dry AF then. Some people just like dragging what they can't argue,

OP may have merged his story with some other people's real life stories to hide his identity. If they could get the ex-Lasu guy, they would have located OP now. However, with his way of dissemination, he must have kept his tracers guessing and confused till tomorrow. He's a smart guy and I think we should not make an issue over that. No one wants to hear a sad story of an unnecessary assassination over exposing evil.
One fact remains, he was a cultist of the said confraternity, active in that region. His knowledge of happenings in that region is extremely vast. He has repented and has the courage to start up a thread that will change lives and prevent young minds from wasting their lives away. For that reason, he'll forever be appreciated.

I think the lies discredited the story except for those who believe and accept everything with the heart of a zombie. Right now, I can't even say what to believe in his story. All those juju aspect and anything could be lies as well. It means I can't pick any aspect of his story and tell it to people as the gospel truth knowing fully well that he might have lied.
I can keep pointing out things. If it's a matter of confusing his trackers, he didn't do no justice to that, because he gave too many details, if I was one of his peers then, I could have easily pointed out who he is. Nothing is being concealed here, that's why it's a fiction or someone else's story.

His intention is good anyway, say no to cultism, except that it's impossible to believe a story full of lies as the gospel truth.
Cultism is bad, but as for his story, I only take it as a fiction which has done justice in giving novices the idea of what the life of a cultist looks like.

You just dey make noise. I used Siemens a50 when it came out in 2002 and i wasn't any big man. The box still dey my room till today with the manuals. Other 'cheap' phones were around in 2001. Before that i used one yeye blue screen phone that was on life support

Again ill correct you, we used to order for Yankee and UK school catalogues back in 2001

Infact i rmbr all the phones i used after that period, Nokia 3250, Sony Ericsson p910i and the likes

In 2005, phones like sendo x, sagem myx 6 and 7 and Samsung d500 series were already common and that's probably the time you know well

Yahoo messenger became common around 2002 when boys used to use what they called Gene to order goods online, particularly PhatFarm and FuBu

I have seen it all, nothing wey u fit tell me around that era

You're still saying same thing I said about internet. Yahoo messenger was the popular thing on internet then. And boys do night browsing in cybercafes. Nothing like modem or browsing phones. Most people don't even own or know laptops as desktop computer was the common thing that time with windows 98 or so.

Pls show us the receipt for phone and sim card you bought in 2001 as you claimed.

He will be appreciated forever. Though, he(OP) was a cult member, his love for none cult members is awesome.

This reminds me of a discussion between two old men I met in a bus in one of my trips.

1st man: Ah, no criminal will ever be celebrated like Anini (the law).
2nd man: how? Why?
1st man:Because of the love he has for the poor civilians. Anini had never annoyed the poor, let alone taking anything from them.
2nd man:is that the reason for celebrating him?
1st man:No,No, Anini was a good friend to civilians, any day he went for rubbing, he would share 2/3 (two - third) of what he got from politicians and banks to the poor civilians.
The day he was apprehended, story has it that civilians tried their best to save him but the Police overpowered them and took him away.
2nd man:because of money people are fighting for a criminal.
1st man: yes, he never thought of himself only. Unlike, our politicians who only think of their families and relatives.
If could've fought and ensure that Anini was released from their net.
2nd man: what are you trying to tell us now?
1st man: (laughs) I am telling young people that since Anini couldn't have escaped Gov. law, No criminal will ever break his record. Let them not ever think of engaging themselves into criminal activities, because they will die shamefully and unrecognized.

The Op will be celebrated forever like Anini lol grin grin

SAY NO TO CULTISM

If you say No,you will die so shameful and unrecognized.

You're now talking the truth. You didn't even buy it for yourself, yet you come here claiming SIM cards and phones were very affordable and common in 2001, just because you were lucky to get them free from someone. Please make research to know how much those phones and SIM cost that time. Some people bought SIM over 40k. And 40k isn't joke that time, those were periods they were selling measure of garri around N15 or thereabout. Even 40K isn't beans as at now, how much more that time.

Brother, buying phone and SIM card no be child play those years. Anyway, I commend your honesty.

This thread has about 546,561 views so far which is quite credible. Infact it's outstanding cos even if this all details here gets transformed to a book, I doubt if it'd get up to this amount of readers.

Great job to everyone here both the cultists and non-cultists, retired and denouncers.......
For the cultists that seek a way out, if you were not corner blended just remember how hard it took to get into the trap, this would make you prepared to denounce, and remove yourself from the bondage....

I see brothers killing brothers for just no gain. Those that started all these years ago, where are they now? Think about your humble past, think about your friends, neighbours, your former classmates and course mates. How would you feel if they see your dead picture circulating everywhere as a cultist that was gunned down, how would you feel, if you saw one of them drive past you and there you're in the midst of rough looking boys... some of Your teachers, aunt, uncles and many others that have written you off as no good, why don't you put them to shame now by keeping away from cult activities.

You might take yourself as cool headed and serious but believe you me a simple messup from one idiot within you clique and suddenly you'd be running Helter skelter like a goat on heat.

Just today alone, guys that have ran past me trying to evade the police are so many that they'd have easily passed off as a legit marathon team.

The local police know a lot of these cultists and their base, so whether or not you're involved your be picked up just for being a member.
So many have been bailed on countless occasions that their bail fee would have been enough to build an oil refinery.
Why waste your parents hard earned money??
If you get caught, you hardly get bailed by your fellow cultist, na still that your poor mama or papa wey you dey give headache go come bail you...... The thing dey pain me days why I don enter pidgin, abeg make una try change....

Stop addiction to drugs! Only you take three shots of tpv, or whatever una dey call am, straight to your veins, ha oga! It's bad na. You just one belong, you one flex, you one enjoy life but I tell you that one no be enjoyment.

You never kill anyone? Oya clap for yourself
You never drive, or obtain anyone? Clap for yourself
You never assault, ginger anyone? Weldone bro
But you forget say even by mere anchoring you don dey promote wickedness dey go, you forget say enemies no send you, you forget say your G. Son fit dey do wetin worst pass, you forget say on a normal shanky for think twice before him teach you lesson but because say you and am dey same fraternity, na for frat u go take settle am.

Guys wey dey take because of intimidation join, abeg no forget say once you enter na there intimidation start o.

Person go come out say him don dey more years upon the ship use you do offering for breakfast.
You shout, complain anyone Dem fit collect your voice.
You mess up, you fit collect free DRILLINGS.... No body send you.....
You no fit call anybody or report to anybody, cos yes you dey game with the person too.

You call you G.F complain, him too go show, of him level small pass the other person G.F na to humble o, or highest plan to settle scores since matter no dey sour.... Like play like play, the war wey you dey avoid don Dy start like dat.

Please be wise, why pay and collect several beatings to enter bondage??, Even bokoharam dey recognised for international sphere, abeg who Trump know for your frat talkless of their dress code....
Nobody forces or coerces you to join something which they think it's too good to pass up. Lies Lies Lies..........
Stay safe o

Even system guys confirm the stories. So what really is your own. From what I have heard on the streets and personal confession, this is even a very modest expose. Cultists have had way worse experiences in the game. So if you want to fictionalize it, it is up to you.

I mean, I've been able to pick handful of lies and contradictions from his story, so I don't know which one to or not to believe in his story anymore.
The only thing is, fiction or not, the story has gone a long way to discourage any reasonable teenager from joining cultism or bad gang.

I just love the op of this thread, very sensible man. They have been trying to use different means to get him no way. Juju story didn't work, politician didn't, fake geologist didn't, atheist didn't, urgent help from some guys couldn't, now is doubting credibility based on mobile phone. You claimed he is sharing another person story, the same you claims those he mentioned will identify him. Na waoh oh. Some even claim he is advertising Cultism. It only shows the guy is intelligent. Kudos sir, they can't get you.

Another thing then is getting signal. People dey climb mount Everest to see network to call that time. Later they made one phone like that Turaya, which they claim can work anywhere.
Infact it's very good to experience different eras in life, one will keep laughing when reminiscing.

I'm not saying the story is not feasible. The story is what happens all the time, same way play depicts what happens in real life.
And I like his intention, his message too is very clear, 'say no to cultism, but my only point his, I can't take any bit of his story as truth knowing fully well that it's been sauced with lies to great extent. I can only recommend this thread to people same way I recommend a good fiction movie. I tell them to learn from the lesson being passed across but the genuineness of the story is below average.

Don't expect genuineness 100, unless you're probably a cultist and need the op to be clearer with his confession so you guys can pounce on him like was done to the other guy years back. ??

Let's say around 2002, only few big Nigerians were able to afford the Nokia blueface and the likes, while the money of SIM card alone was enough to feed the whole family of an average Nigerian. Phones/SIM became affordable for everyone around 2003/2004/2005.
2005 upwards was the time most average students were able to get phones.

I dnt doubt OP's story one bit, you can take the bold step to share yours as well. As a matter of fact, the fact that u couldn't use a phone till year 2005 upward, doesnt mean some students couldn't afford it.I started using a phone in secondary sch as at 2001/2002, my dad had one and was gifted another and as per sharp nigga, i scope am collect the sagem but no sim card till 2003/2004.

No mind the guy jare, make he dey talk him own

I dnt doubt OP's story one bit, you can take the bold step to share yours as well. As a matter of fact, the fact that u couldn't use a phone till year 2005 upward, doesnt mean some students couldn't afford it.I started using a phone in secondary sch as at 2001/2002, my dad had one and was gifted another and as per sharp nigga, i scope am collect the sagem but no sim card till 2003/2004. So i no fit doubt person story.

If I continue about the phone, you will waste my time. What about the scratch card?

I like the intention of OP but I can keep pointing out things in the story. The summary is that cultism is bad but claiming this particular story is genuine is a waste of time.

weda the OP lied or not the basis of his stories are clear.. cultism doesn't pay much in the end..no need for unnecessary arguments

God bless you. That's my exact point. His point and intention is clear but it's a waste of time some people trying to prove the story to be genuine.
We should just focus on the message and forget the story.
