@tunlex01
thanks alot for the information provided, i really appreciate it...
have done what you instructed and i have 3 codes that kinda relate to what i do.
what i do mainly is clothing....i do customized wears and also printing....
code 392311 printing machinist TRA skill 3
232411 graphics designer VETASSESS skill 1
this i think best related to what i do and go well with my online stores and my company registration description
232311 fashion designer VETASSESS skill 1 (the task best fit what i do)
so what do i do next sir....will like to have all arranged before i start the process
Recap
Am 30yrs
Presently single but intend to marry asap
am a Bsc holder 2014
online store 4yrs old

Printing machinist and fashion designer are trade occupations. Do you have qualification in fashion design? I don't think you will be qualified for printing machinist because it is completely different from what you explained you do.

Graphics designer is an ICT occupation.

Do you sew the clothing yourself or you sell clothing online? If you only sell, you will not get a positive assessment.

You mentioned you are planning to marry asap, what is your fiance's qualification and experience?

This thread and previous thread have enough information for people to be able to self-analyse their own chances.

Putting up your profile shows you have not read the thread. The beauty of do it yourself is for individuals to read themselves and then ask questions where stuck. Asking basic question of what are my chances shows you have not read the thread.

You should know that nobody works with DHA that sends invitation. Hence, we don't know anybody's chances but you can use the information to assess your eligibility.

@Ayooluwa18,

Is your relative living in regional NSW? Did you apply for family sponsored visa or the state nominated 491?

tunlex01:

For PRP, you will need to use your Msc and BSc while only experience after the date on your Msc certificate will be approved by Vetassess.
Same goes for IOP (nec)
see the description on Anzsco website.

Description

This unit group covers Information and Organisation Professionals not elsewhere classified. It includes Electorate Officers, Liaison Officers, Migration Agents (Aus) / Immigration Consultants (NZ) and Patents Examiners.

The MSC certificate was gotten last year, the 7 years experience is with my BSC. Do I still stand a chance?

Most likely - no.
Cos all the 7 years experience will be zero and there is no assurance of a positive assessment cos I don't think your role falls into any of the description listed on Anzsco code for IOP

Am sticked at biometric and medical because of the lockdown in lagos. I have sent a complaint Mal to DHA but received a generic reply. What do I do next.

The department knows that worldwide services have been impacted. The 28 day limit has been suspended. You will be given enough time to get them done.

This is an excerpt of information available on DHA website

"Disruption of services
Some services relating to the visa application process may be impacted by COVID-19 and a range of services we rely on are increasingly unavailable.

This includes overseas panel doctors (see below), English language testing facilities, biometric collection and paper application lodgement centres.

While these services are unavailable, many applicants cannot meet visa requirements. Applicants will be given additional time to complete checks and provide the requested information."

You have nothing to worry about..

Boss, it’s ridiculous.
This explains why a lot of people fall victim to scammers. Nothing is as good as having basic knowledge or idea by educating oneself and reading the already “cooked and well prepared” material. Some even tell me, just do everything for me, I’ll pay you. A little time spent reading the process will do much good.

State nomination is the best way to receiving faster ITA with the current trend of high scores.

Good morning @bellong, @tunlex and othere gurus.
I say this on the eligibility requirements of NT.
That offshore applicant must have a job in region already.
How posible is this please

Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by ajayidebo: 7:31am On Apr 21, 2020
Read carefully. Offshore applicants must have an offer of full time employment in the NT if the NT Migration list requires it. Key word "IF". They don't require job offer for all occupations.

I think the question still remains - that is, how is it possible to get a job in NT if you are still onshore? That is the question.

Not all the occupations require job offer. However for the purpose of your question, it is possible to find a job from offshore.

NT companies sometimes struggle to fill positions in the region because people don't want to relocate to the place. You could be lucky to find a position if you have skills employers need. The spin to it is the economic impact of COVID-19 may prevent international recruitment drive.

Hello Nairalanders I have a friend who is a Crane Operator and his plan is to migrate to Australia and work as a Crane Operator. Can someone with this skill qualify to apply for the resident/work permit? If yes please what are the requirements. Also which of the immigration program can he fit in? Thanks.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by MissyGSam: 6:36am On Apr 22, 2020
Yes. I got a positive assessment and created EOI. I guess we just have to wait. I have not explored the 491 option yet. NSW is my only 190 choice as most states want you to live in their state before they nominate you (that is for those living in Aussie).

Adesomo24:
Thanks @MissyGSam. I got a positive assessment with VETASSES. I have filled an EOI on SkillSelect but i'm not sure of the next stage. Are we supposed to wait for an invite or submit an application to the regions/cities? Our profession is only available on 190 and 491.
Has VETASSES concluded your assessment?

Hello all,
Please I have a question, I am looking at the criteria for 190 visa class for New South Wales, and I noticed under the priority skilled occupation list, the availability of my occupation is listed as 'Limited" does anyone really know what that means? I attached an image here.

Thanks

Family sponsor nomination is strictly done by DHA and the queue is long. They hardly invite high numbers of family sponsored applications.

If NSW has your occupation on her list, apply to NSW too.

Cheers

Limited means there is limit to the number of people to nominate for the occupation.
