For anyone trying to get an extra certificate, you can do acca diploma (f1-f3) and wes evaluates it as one year college level certificate. I got my ECA today and that was what was written there.
Please if one pass f2, f3 and f4 but have exemption in f1, will diploma be given and will Wes evaluate it as one year

Hello, has anyone written IELTS in warri centre since it was created. How was it like in terms of how organised and coordinated. Sincere opinions please. Please can anyone reply. Thanks alot

Hello, sorry for the late response.

Yes, I wrote in Warri on the 7th of March, had my Speaking on Thursday 5th.
We were not much, I didn't particularly count the number of persons that sat for the exam that day, but if I'm to roughly estimate I'd say between 90-130 candidates.

It was well organised, with the standard BC headset, well cooled and every other amenities or treatment you'd expect from a standard venue was obtainable there.

The centre was BON Hotels (Formerly called Protea Hotels) along Ekpan-NPA Expressway, quite easy to locate.
My result was online 13 days after, on a Friday, and it was posted to the address I entered the Monday after.

I hope this was helpful. All the best in your exams.

How long did it take for WES to evaluate your credentials?

Nice Testimony, not today the discrimination of BSC/ HND started,I had always told myself that if I own a company I won't employ based on ones cert rather what you have upstair. My ex who worked with access bank don't even know how to go through yahoo mail, I was asking myself how did this one get employed? really? she hold a BSC in Biology.

God works in a miraculous way, If not for HND you would be in this devil's own country NIGERIA (e no go better for lord lugard and Nnamdi Azikwe who merged us together).

Happy for you, this kind of testimony keeps us motivated. You guys should keep them coming, please.

I didn't insult you bro. Just tiny lil pun to make you understand the scenario. It was an unnecessary argument too. Sorry if you feel offended.

Lol..Accra has a twin or senior brother o..Montreal VO.
Seriously? That's a new one. Or, could it because of this pandemic issue? I haven't seen a lot of people complain about MVO recently.

They have always been slow, even before the pandemic. Average of 8months. My application will be 8 months tommorow. As per webform, looks like it moved to Hamilton VO - I nor even sabi that one too. Right now, I'm just try to keep calm.

Sorry for jumping at your post.
You should have asked what qualifications he has before suggesting another degree. And people fail to understand that you ONLY need another qualification when you don't have at least a master's degree or OND/HND. Getting another certificate with these WON'T give extra points.
U saying Writing BCS with my Masters won't add any point? cry
My believe is that BCS is another thing on it own......abi....am I missing something?

Hi, thanks for dropping by. And for your quote, It shows you read my post but you didn't really understand it. You could do again if you have the time.

I raised a few issues in the post, but you chose a specific position which is my opinion that even came with a caveat. I am not perturbed though.

About wanting a great life for your children, I am not against that. Because that is the dream of every parent. But my position is based on the stories I have read on Qoura and the other thread of living in Canada as an immigrant and first hand experience. Where some folks still relish their big man life in Naija. Chauffeur driven, gate man manning their gates, house help doing their chores and people massaging their egos in their workplace in Naija with "oga mi sir" or other accolades that fit such purpose in the country workplace politico. They get none of this in their new home. Many find this fact a strange one. Not even the reality of having to work "the bottom up the ladder approach" in some cases.

And as with many developed nations, an easy way to integrate into their society is education. This new episode might not be easy for someone who is advanced in age with children that need support and time thereby making them to forgo their own dreams. But at the end, their children will be fine for it like you said but only if they shun violence or bad influence and not get carried away by the freedom they have in a new world.

In all, it is not all black and white. Not straightforward but also not impossible. Most importantly, it is necessary to marry expectations with reality. This will make the difference in the long run when the going gets tough. Just me thinking in my humble opinion. Cheers.
What are we saying, what you saying?? cry

What he's saying is the points haul from Masters is higher than what BCS will ever fetch you. After Masters, PhD is next in line, in terms of points.

So going for BCS or any other additional course is a waste of time and resources, when you already have a Masters degree, from the "additional points" view.

Summarily, BCS can only add more points if you have a single degree like BSc, ND, RN etc where upon completion and evaluation, the BCS adds to you, an extra certificate to make it '2 or more certificates' which is just below Masters/Professional Degree.

no one cares about class of degree in express entry. First class and pass have same points. You can also explore cima accounting or bcs computer diploma for extra points as they are faster

YES! I wrote that!

You only need your highest qualification to get points in your Education. Another way is for you to max out your IELTS and get a second language (French) that can give you about 42 points.

If you already submitted your application after your ITA (in other words, you have AOR), and that application is still being processed by IRCC, you do NOT need to retake IELTS. Nothing to be done. If you don't have AOR you will need to take that exam again.

If you have not submitted your application (post ITA/AOR) you have to take the exam again else your profile would be invalid once your ielts expires.

NB: anyone who has less than 6 months validation on his/her ielts, I’d advise you to start preparing to take another test, don’t wait it out.
