His fault actually but how he apologies is another thing to reckoned with. The ultimate damage is the video surface on social media which plays the memory fresh and fresh again. In my own story me and father have gone through rough and tough and we are together. I have wronged him with weird ideology as a child so as him with weird ideology as an African parent. But now we are past those stage now because

It's better to fail than skip exams... The man is even soft.... Try that with my father nothing will save you from not getting everlasting injury mark. Up till now I still check my siblings report cards, they usually take 1st or 2nd but that doesn't mean I won't beat them when I go through their examination questions to see how many they failed ... During my time, to fail is not acceptable at all, firstly you be extremely grounded, you're not allow to play football or even watch TV like your mate and lastly you will be doing all the house chores alone and also going errands even though you dey sleep dem go wake you go buy something, after going through this be sure the next results will improve or else e go hear win e 4 Dat house. The video shows that the man was throwing money at a problem and not looking at the root cause.

Your child does not just start skipping exams all of a sudden.

What makes you think the father is blameless?

Is the father smart himself? Did the dad make straight As?

Is the kid spolt? How did he become spoilt?

How can I spend $21K on your school and you deliberately miss the exams?

If the boy had any single respect for the parents he would have at least told them before missing those exams. Their reactions to the result is a clear proof they were never aware.

They should let that man be. He didn't pick such huge amount of money from the streets.

Imagine how hard I'm hustling now to pay for my boys school fees.... I may do worse than that man.

For those ladies criticizing the man, imagine you spent your own money (N5000) to buy foodstuffs for food. You spent hours cutting, grinding and putting everything together to make a good soup for your man.

At the end of the day, he abandons everything to go play WHOT with his friends.

I mean all the while he watched you go through all that stress, he never mentioned he's not hungry. He watched you spend your money and did everything to please him. Yet he never even "touched" the plate cover to see what is inside.

How of you can stand that?

Try at least I know it's not easy to have SENSE, it very important. I can't intentionally abuse my kids... But I won't spare the rod, if flogging a child will instill discipline in them why not.
