I could remember walking home late from school in the evening, as I was playing football and my younger left me at school

I was surprised to meet my Dad in the living room, cos he wasn't supposed to be home at that time, I wasn't even aware my school uniform wasn't in me and that I had just my singlet and school trouser on, he asked for my shirt, I was surprised when I couldn't find it in my bag and inside my pocket (public school stuff).

The man just went in, before he came back I was on my way to school, when I got to the field where I was supposed to forget my Uniform, I was surprised to see one dirty shirt hung on the pole, I couldn't believe that was my uniform, I just took the cloth, went to school hostel, stole a friend's shirt, I was just walking back home crying and talking to God that I will become a Pastor if I don't die that evening..

On getting home, I saw my Dad well fined Cane, my Mum knelt and begging him, the man surprisingly was calm, until he told me to wear the uniform, behold, that shirt was almost touching my knee, Mogbe.

It wasdefinitely my Dad size, immediately the curse I sent to Femi, is definitely still affecting his life, to cut the long story shot, I went outside, held on to our Antenna pole, the rest na the dark patch I still have on my butt, and back... Ever since that day I no Dey wait make dem ring bell fo closing, I don Dey near class door, at the sound of the bell, I am already at the school car park waiting for bus..

I miss my Dad though, and I so much wish he is alive today... RIP DAD

Mom wasn't at home, only grandma was. I was hungry, stole some garri to chew and went out. As I hopped out of the house, mom suddenly walked in from the gate. I had to run behind the car cus I knew she must not see me chewing garri. She caught me, dragged me inside, asked me to take off my clothes, I did. She said I should remove my pants too, I did, she then started lashing me like goat with plank that had nail in it. Somehow the nail hit my lips and it burst, I bled and had swollen lips for days. Single motherhood is something else. She had no one to control her at all. I was vulnerable to any kind of treatment.

Sometimes cus of little mistakes, she'll send me to bed without dinner and I'll wake up hungry to chores before I have breakfast by 2pm.

When I gained admission and changed it for her that she can't be raising cane on me again at this age, she came up with another matter...said I've joined cults you that's why I'm feeling too big to be beaten. The story plenty.

I was in SS2 when I invited my Mom for the school open day...Very 1st time she'll be coming for my Open day ..... My class teacher countlessly asked me if I've parents

The day she came..... Almost all teachers complained about my stubborn attitude including the Naval personnels that came across her too .......

She flogged me..... still brought me to close to her side and gave me a lot of advices that have been working for me till now.... The mark she gave me on my back is still visible to the blind

She was very overprotective I have many similar stories throughout my childhood, but this one stands out the most because I was really looking forward to it.
One time my friends & I were playing with a skipping rope. One of my friends stepped on the back of my shoe by mistake while we were skipping & the sole came off. I had to take off the shoe so her father could fix it. Mind you at this point I have never been without shoes (outside of the house) my whole life because my mom didn't like that So anyway, my friends were laughing at me because I didn't wanna put my foot on the dirt, that's when I realized that perhaps I was a little too sheltered lol.

[b]There was a time i was playing throw and catch with my elder brother, during that time my brother had done something to me i didn't like, so i threw the orange we were using towards the garden, but he managed to catch it, i did it again the second time, the third time. the fourth time, this time he warned me not to throw it there again, i decided to act stupidly i threw it there, this time he didn't catch it, the next thing i heard was yeeeeeee it was my brother, i saw my mom coming towards me, the next thing she gave me was a destiny rerouting slap, i could actually hear a sound like those olden days panasonic TV. My brother came out with blood from his arm, a stick tore his arm, i can swear i saw his bone.. He was rushed to the hospital.. He was stitched.. i cried a lot that night, i wasn't given food that night, my school money reduced from twenty naira to five naira for a whole session. Money for biscuit stop flowing, i stopped taking vitavite and sweets to school, i was thinking she hated me[/b]

Are you the last born in the family? If so then it makes perfect sense,and you're a female on top of that.Parents are very overprotective when it comes to girls.Now put a boy in the same scenario and what you get is an effeminate sissy lol.

My parents didn't give us punishment. So I can't relate.

Yes, I was the baby of the family but more like an only child because my sister lived with my aunt, hence my mom doted on me so much. It had its perks, but was also very annoying at times.

LMAO, I know. One of my aunts has 3 daughters & one son (last born), they all treated him like a porcelain doll, which angered his father so much because he felt they were pussifying him He's still a little soft even now. As children (we're only two years apart) we were both crybabies

Looooool, is that so? For a while my cousin was running around with a tough crowd & one time his crew was rounded up, accused of a heinous crime. Somehow I just knew he wasn't involved because he's not the type. In the end it was proven that he indeed went home when his friends were up to no good. He's very gentle & in a way how he was raised paid off. I sometimes wonder how he fitted in with such a group of hardened thugs to begin with.

I started push ups and sit ups as a kid, thanks to my dad who used them to punish me whenever I messed up. (I always did)

My mum gave me the worst punishment because it made me loose a girl I was shyking back then. No punishment pass the phrase "you're grounded" for young adults especially when you bash a car.

When I was still addicted to tramadol I thought it will be my undoing in ruining my life till I watched a documentary on nyaope. God I had hope. That drug was expensive to now think you must use it twice a day to be able to stay stable. Thank God I didn't come across it.
