But the dividend payments from dangcem come June will help me.....going forwards

I missed Eterna School fees......after doing due diligence for 2 weeks on the stocks 4 years ago, I decided to buy it ......didn't know what made my eyes off from it.

Seeing it now, I thank God I didn't buy it then last.

Panic sellers might drag the market backward any moment from next month to July.

I will still remain a 10% trader until the 2nd quarter is over.

That's cool, it's always good to stick to what works for someone, some value investors,some income investors,some growth investors ,while some a blend of all, wapco used to be a good dividend paying stock in the past,but i guess it's more of a growth stock for now,which is actually the toast of some class of investors

But wapco sold their assets, and that made their result palatable....so not a growth stock for me now.

Let's see their results going forward to know if I should consider it then....

J.berger is better for me, but they don't have the funds to match the Chinese firms for now. Also J.B already have 2nd Niger Bridge project at hand.

Julius Berger constructed third mainland bridge and the bridge is about 30 years old.

A Chinese firm constructed a bridge over a canal between Iba and idimu. The bridge did not last 2 years before a section of the bridge caved in

They should consider Julius Berger. Lagos State is a major shareholder of Julius Berger through Ibile Holdings, but it is unfortunate that most road constructions go to Hitech a company owned by the national leader of the ruling party

What if the bulk of the retained earnings is currently bringing in 12% interest and this new bonds are for like 8% interest?

Same here sir, that's why I feel for people investing with illiquid, non dividend penny stocks... right now, I buy only dividend paying stocks at value prices. Which explains why I bought DangCement @ 124, 116, 112 instead of buying into WAPCO @10

I'm not saying WAPCO is not a good stock. I prefer to sleep at night and not bother about daily closing prices

Paid fees on Eterna oil, fcmb etc. Not anymore, only GTBs and Zees of this world..

Some people go through their schooling without paying one Kobo, I know of a guy that studied up to uni, did his masters all on scholarship.

All the proceeds invested in blue chips and other dividend paying stocks. Due to commitments, not everyone can monitor / follow events happening on the floor.

School fees on FCMB? I doubt that because it will likely be the same fees with DangCem, GTB and Zenith you cited.

There is nothing in DC financials to show that the company is investing the retained earnings in securities..
The latest result only showed that they generated a paltry 2.2b as finance income while they spent over 8b as interest expenses.
