Sometimes we shouldn't blame these pastors rather our own family.
I had 2 bad experiences with my family.
Even though my parents are educated, you will be surprise with the way they think when it comes to religion and health.
My mum had severe stomach pain early this year, in fact on one of those occasions, she collapsed at her working place that they had to pour her water and other things to resuscitate her.
Upon enquiring what happened to her, she and my dad said they called some of our prophets and they said it is attack. Attack from where? Who wan kill you? Who is always chasing you from when you were a baby wey never go back or relent?
They took her to mountain of fire for prayers, discharged her. After some days they stomach started again until i told her to go for a comphrensive test after giving her money and they detected that it is her gallbladder issue.
She operated it 2 months ago and everything as come back to normal.
Second one was when my brother had meningitis. They never knew. Thought it was malaria and treating him for that.
Dad always praying for him and all saying it's attack from my dad's side until i told them to move the boy at midnight when i saw the situation getting worse to hospital before the boy will die at home.
That was where they learnt it was meningitis.
All in all, i noticed poverty played a big role in their decision making despite been educated.
I don't compromise health for money or religion.
If you are sick, go to the hospital. If you are in spirit and want to worship your creator, go to church.
