The DG will be removed.

The threat from Trump that US will stop funding WHO is not for nothing.

Typical post of a wailer. A Nigerian must be behind this. Why calling for his head as if na him spread the virus angry

He did by misinforming the world, especially the west. Even when it's proven that the virus can be spread by people who don't have symptoms, the guy was still advising checking temperatures and symptoms. He encouraged free movement. As countries realized their mistakes and started lockdown when it's obviously too late, he became a lockdown enthusiast without considering whether it's an economically viable option.

He wasn't leading; he was following popular opinion — he's just a politicians!

Notwithstanding, efforts should be concentrated on getting a vaccine or cure as quick as possible.

This is not the time for pointing fingers of accusation, his resignation will not cure the already infected.
True. It is best the issue is solved with every energy first before considering other matters concerning blames.

This DG was expected to Handle this catastrophe with caution, care, of which he failed to rather believing the figures emanating from china. He handled china with care at the detriment of lives of others in the world. Despite the virus having no cure, he still couldn't wade in to ascertain how far the Chinese had gone to decimate the spread and protect other countries signatory to WHO. he failed big time and letting the World down in a time the World needed a leader to save it from a pandemic to stay around for the nothing less than 2years. The Chinese has contributed monetarily in huge sum to the WHO and to other countries in this period, reminding of Greek Gift.

Trump failed, he played politics with it at the initial stage that's why we re here today. Also the team Obama set up he disbanded them. That guy to me is responsible for all this nonsense not even WHO. He ignored all the indices

Lalasticlala, why are you using your power as a mod to push propaganda? On what basis is this news on the frontpage? There are 1000 petitions against virtually every individual or organization on that website, all by vested interests. Covid 19 was a new disease in January and scientists knew next to nothing about it as at then. Every single findings in science has to be proven first before it is certified. Every science student knows this, 2 + 2 may be 4, but in Mathematics it still has to be proven.

There is ALWAYS a lag time between when a virus
makes the jump from animals to humans and when it
has spread to enough people for it to be obvious that
there's a problem. We've all watched in real time as
countries around the world have seen shit start to hit the
fan around 4-6 weeks after their first case. Independent
genetic analysis of this virus has put it's origin as
sometime in November (maybe late October), which
means that late December is exactly the time that you
would expect China to first notice that they weren't just
having an ordinary flu season (and remember...they
didn't have the benefit of knowing that there was a new
virus they had to be on the lookout for).

"But why didn't they tell us there was human to human
transmission?" Dumbo, there's an incubation period! A
kinda long one! And most of the people who catch the
virus have mild symptoms that wouldn't have been
distinguishable from any other cold or the flu (and
they couldn't have even been tested in the early weeks
because THE TEST DIDN'T EXIST UNTIL AFTER THE
VIRUS WAS IDENTIFIED AND SEQUENCED!. Of course
it took a few weeks to confirm that there was human to
human transmission! Science just doesn't move as fast
as you want it to!

This DG did not push for countries to stop travels early. He did not come out with a protocol for compulsory quarantine for returnees for 14-21 days.

With Dybala still testing positive to Covid-19 after six weeks, it shows the 14 days asymptomatic period a joke.

We need this man out for someone far creative.

Are you here to trumpet the western world lies against the DG of WHO? How are we sure this Covid-19 was not a Biowarfare targeted at China? OK, let say China lied and did a bad job in reporting the outbreak, at least they contained it under 2 months. Let US and their cohorts also contain the outbreak in record time like China instead of finding excuses and throwing blames around

The WHO DG is in the best position to know that in scenarios like this, you prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.

Extreme measures should have been taking to give time to understand what we are dealing with.

What about when the breakout started, this man refused to declare the Covid-19 spread a pandemic until it was too late.

The same man was the one issuing the self isolation theory instead of compulsory quarantine for returnees that is now being adopted by lots of Nations.
