What's the fate of EH?

That should be the end for EH.

It is quite unfortunate.

Final nail on the coffin. What began as side talks of which many disputed has become a reality. Sadly there was no plan for EH ab initio. The fact that they took over a thousand GT gave no room for EH.

A perfect timing for them to dish out the bad news.

They will just hinge it on COVID-19 and the fall of oil price. Even though they had no intention of completing the process.

After the processes that EH candidates followed, I feel it is good enough for the corporation to mention this formally instead of hiding behind statements.

Could this be the end for EH? So sad. However, NNPC should make this public. It's confusing. If they don't need EH anymore, they should say it in a plain language.

I quite agree with you on the statement that NNPC should say something about the EH component of the recruitment process.

It is outrightly unfair and unprofessional for them not to mention anything regarding that.

Anyway, this is Nigeria.
Some will argue that they've surpassed 50% of expectation from the public.

I swear to God some E.H are also resuming virtually on 4th may, they've already done their documentation online and they were cautioned not to let the news to anyone.

So sad.

He also stated that the EH component will be addressed in due course.

The statement is obviously ambiguous, please we need clarification for the EH. The wait has been too long to end like this.

All the EH needs to do now is to ask questions through the NOC Twitter handle.

Don't want to sound pessimistic but i think the end has come. we E.H hopefuls gats to move on. The GT cadre recruitment was out before the embargo on recruitment was placed by FG. Now for those that think NNPC cant be affected by that embargo, needs to rethink again. With the decline in Oil prices and economic, i dont see NNPC publishing names of EH now. Maybe in the nearest future there may be hope for us. till then i wish u guys greatness in all your endeavours.

If price of Oil didn't stop GT virtual resumption it won't also stop EH resumption. The price of Crude oil can't stop petroleum product distribution, retail, LPG, refining etc. Be well informed.

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, says President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the engagement of 774, 000 Nigerians on Special Public Works programme in the country to cushion the effect of COVID-19 pandemic.

Mrs Ahmed disclosed this at a press conference on fiscal stimulus measures in response to COVID-19 pandemic and oil prices fiscal shock, on Monday in Abuja.

I think those of us on the EH cadre should continuously demand for an official disclosure from the Corporation of the clear position of the recruitment of the EH component. It has been a very long wait with so much invested (emotionally and otherwise) in this process from a lot of us for it to come to this point where we cannot say what the official position is. I think the least we deserve from NNPC is a clear communication of what the situation is with regards to the 2019/2020 EH recruitment.

Big wisdom everybody: E.H, do you know that if your appointment letters are kept safely, after next week, secret changes or replacements can be made without your consent?. From information, do you know NNPC removed people, both contract staff and those they retired? Go and take your own space in NNPC.....The best way is to go and bombard Twitter now for E.H closure. Do it now!!..The earlier the best....A closed mouth is a closed destiny....

Like I said some time ago here, I know two EH persons who were given APL, they have concluded their documentation too. More EH recruitment will go on but on a per need and per influence basis. Let's think of other productive things to do. I missed this one but hopefully something good comes up. Stay positive and take your mind off this recruitment while doing something else.
