I have done so many and still doing at different times but what helped was this book written by Franklin Jentezen *Fasting*..
The 3 most difficult I could remember are.. Let me share and encourage someone that fasting and prayers still works..

1. 21 days of no food, only water. I fasted and prayed about my future and the 20th day, God revealed to me my assignment here on earth. I have not lacked or missed a step ever since.

2. 200+ days of normal 6 -6 fasting, My wife was pregnant of our second baby and had different complications day after day. Two of us are Medical Lab scientist and had to agree that its becoming spiritual.... WHen i began fasting, her condition almost became normal. That night during labour, she drove to the clinic where she works, and acording to her story, she delivered in less the 10 mins of entering the hospital and left the hospital after an hour. People where like madam.. you can't drive.. rada rada... until a friend drove her home. I came back to her after 4days from my place of work.

3. 90+ days of normal 6 -6. I applied for YOUWIN grant during GEJ's regime. The total amount i applied for was #9.2M. I started fasting and praying until i was called to Aso rock, awarded the best Business plan from North East and a cash of 500k from First bank and also given the exact amount i wrote #9.2M in batches to expand my business.

Iam a fan of fasting and prayer works and its still working.

As we know, fasting and praying is a stronger means of reaching out to God.

I'll go first;
On that day, i
I didn't really plan to fast but I just felt the need to do it. I began on this day and concluded it on the third day.

My experience On the first Day of My Fast: I feared that I might not have strength to stay without food so my first prayer point was about me begging God for a supernatural strength to carry on with the fast.

My Experience On The Second Day;
It was like I was going to die. I felt the need for food badly. I was in my family house then, so I was even more tempted when I saw family members eating but I was able to avoid all that by God's grace

My Experience On The Third/Last Day Of My Fast;
On this day, it was like I had no need for feed at all. My body had suddenly miraculously adapted to going without food. I was the one who just decided to break the fast on that day.

So that's my longest fast for now, a 3 days fasting. I hope to accomplish more.
N.B: You can go about your daily routine as usual even while fasting but the main point is obeying God's word the more and reading his word backed up with prayers at intervals.
Happy Sunday.

Share Your Experiences.
besides spiritual benefits it cleanse d body health wise.

I was a kid then, I was forced to fast 3 days dry fasting.. Meaning nothing must touch my mouth for three days.... I survive day 1...... Day 2, I saw someone drinking pap which on a normal day I hate so much, but on this day in my imagination it was equivalent to indomie my favorite food but it was only a wish couldn't taste eyes where on me.... Day 3, they say necessity is the mother of invention early in the morning I find a way to get out of sight there is this banana tree in front of our neighbor compound, getting in there cut a bunch without been spotted..... Find some where and and give myself a good treat.... Went back home and continue my fasting..... Learn something that day though a hungry man has nothing to loose....

I did a fast for 21 days, basically to get nearer to God, just eating vegetables and water, wheat bread etc.

I did a Monday to Thursday fast, 6-6 and on Friday morning I got the biggest answer any believer could get, That Friday I started a 40 day dry fast but on Monday morning around 7-8 am the Spirit told me to stop fasting.

I had also done a Friday to Monday morning dry fast and I got a visit from the Lord where he told me he had heard my prayers around sunday 8-9pm I think, but I still broke my fast Monday 12am.

Fasting apart from the medical benefits, draws you close to God, gives you sensitivity to things of the Spirit, empowers you and gives you divine guidance.

I believe a Daniel fast works best for me 6am to 6pm just vegetables and water not fruits, vegetables.

Fasting and prayer the gateway to Devine and physical blessings and ever since I realized that I don’t joke wit it. I do fast for 3, 10, and even up to 30 days. God saw me through and I encourage that there is nothing impossible for you to achieve if u place God first.

50 days.
It was a church declared fast, RCCG. For the first time in my life, I carried out a 6 to 6 fast. It helped that I was going to work and closing by 5pm. I used to carry along carrots or cucumber with water to break my fast in transit.
The first week was horrible!
But after two weeks, I even had to force my self to eat solid food after taking fruits. Devil is indeed a liar!

The longest fast I have done was a 21 day fast. 6 to 6 for 7days
6 to 3 for 7days
6 to 12 for 7 days

The fasting was for my village. There was an evil pattern that ppl die prematurely especially when they start building. Lots of unfinished buildings, no progress. Nobody to help other ppl.It was as if we were going extinct. It was as if we were cursed. Other village in the town (like mumsie's village ' was doing well.

After the fast, God raised other intercessors. I am happy to say that today, progress everywhere. Young boys are now making money and getting married. Beautiful houses everywhere.

Other fasts I have done include 5day mountain of fire deliverance fast which includes 3days dry and 2 more days with daily break at 6pm . I cannot count the number I have done. First one was done when I was serving in the north. It was during that fast I heard God voice for the first time. 2nd one was done in the east when I was looking for a job. The job came miraculously. The guy giving the job had issue with one of his girlfriends ( also looking for the same job). To spite the girl, he just gave me the placement.

I have done several others with varying degrees of result but I noticed I get faster results with praise and worship. Instead of praying, you can just switch to worship.

I pray God will grant me the power to be strong again. I need a fresh fire of revival.

3 days dry fasting given to me by a pastor. It wasn't easy though but I completed it. After the fasting, I visited a priest and shared my fasting experience with him. Guess what, he was mad at me. He warned me never to engage in such fasting again. That whoever adviced me to embark on 3 days dry fasting is wicked and evil. He asked me what if I develop a serious illness on the process. I learnt from it. Since then, I can't fast more than 12 hours without food. I love Catholic priest, they don't deceive people like some half baked pastors do.

3 days dry MFM. One of the most tedious but beneficial experience one can have. You would most likely see and hear God clearly. My life has never been the same so i try to participate whenever I can. It is easier in church with other believers that's why the MFM friday to Sunday is so edifying.

Fasting is not what God recommended for Christians neither does it give salvation!. It's optional, not mandatory.
Faith, love your neighbor like yourself, baptism, practice righteousness and preach the will of God.

I've fasted for three days without food and water and I've done that 4 different times. What I noticed is that I hardly get hungry while observing a fast, my only problem is thirst.

The Devil is a very cunny foe, he will attack from one's weaknesd. So when undertaking a fast, make sure to be very wary of food

You're very right.
And if you're not tempted to eat or been tempted for something else, you're fasting isn't complete.

Temptations must come your ways.
Eg.
EATING
FIGHT
WOMEN
ANYTHING.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO BE FOCUS AMD PRAY. ONCE YOU so that, you're good to go.
A good example is Jesus after fasting for 40daysqnd night.

He was tempted and he over came.

To me I do fast but it's been long I do fast cos I like food a lot.
Happy Sunday friends and family

My hope of working and getting money to get foodstuffs is after the lockdown.
