Guess so too... But how true is the myth dat using d heater damage compressor?

Hmmm been hearing the same thing o. The other day my compressor casted, the AC technician was asking if I use the heater regularly. So maybe or maybe not it has an effect on the cooling system. Although I highly doubt that because the manufacturers are not foolish for putting it na.

Do not use bleach or hydrogen peroxide; they can kill coronaviruses on surfaces but they will damage most surfaces they’re used on.

Ideally, use isopropyl alcohol as this is safe for virtually every material from plastics to painted chrome, fabric upholstery and leather. If you don’t have any of that then soap and water is also effective (but, don’t scrub too hard as this could remove colour).

your car heating system can not kill covid 19

recent tests with SARS-CoV-2 in Hong Kong showed that it became undetectable after just five minutes at only 158°F (70°C). The time required to kill SARS-CoV-2 increased as the temperature was reduced, such that the time by which it was undetectable increased to 30 minutes at 132°F (56°C), two days at 98.6°F (37°C), and two weeks at 71.6°F (22°C). At 39°F (4°C) the virus remained detectable at two weeks when the experiment ended

Interesting. Can you share the source of that experiment?

We never really know, but I could remember the day I was using A/c and everything was going good, at a point I felt like using the heater as the cold is getting to much for me to bear, so I switch to heater, only for me to switcb back to cool and find out a/c is not working again... Got to repairers place and he start asking some many questions, at the end told me its better to off the A/c rather then use the heater if I'm feeling cold.

2 trips already with no air conditioning at all, rider must use sanitiser before entering car.

Banks are so over crowded, wonder why!!

Very few commercial buses also, day still feels like a public holiday!!

Current location: Oniru (Very dry)
I have done 4 trips so far.

LCC is not collecting toll but Bolt is adding it to the fare.

Banks are crowded. There’s nothing like social distancing at GTB Admiratly.

Lekki-Epe Exp is free of traffic.

One rider was trying to hold a conversation even with her face mask on. I was only nodding to everything she was saying till she kept quiet.

Social distancing will never works in banks especially with the recent branch opening rotation system

Many ATMs and online platforms for customer complaint werent working during the lockdown, so it will be logical for people to full up the banks when it opens.

Why can't it work?

Social distancing is just for you to give a distance from the person near you. It's just us that is saying it can't work

I saw a picture in America where people were trying to enter a mall. The queue was very long because they observed social distancing

People sef no wear the nose mask. Sanwoolu go soon switch off him phone grin

It probably was so because the factory fitted cooling system has been tampered with?

Regardless, car heating system is not effective because the virus can only be subdued at higher temperatures and for longer durations exceeding 30 mins.

*sigh

cheesy if Sanwo off em phone, I'm sure Femi won't, the line exactly is what I had in mind... All bank need to do is not to allow cars to park in dia premises, put some sought of line with metres for each person that wants to make use of the bank and as well securities officials at the point of entries, no one should touch the door or d open button. They can as well allow clients to pick up numbers in the morning and don't go beyond the number in a day

Lol.

I think it's funny the way we push responsibilities to others, especially issues concerning our own lives

Even if the bank does not put anything, does it even make sense for people to overcrowd themselves without any protective measures?Must we always wait for one policeman or one OD to compel us to save our own lives?

Look at how drivers here are taking measures to be safe out there. They didn't have to wait for Uber or Bolt to type first. That should be our attitude to staying safe

I saw that thread and I laughed. grin

If I was GTB, I will not force or put any sign there. If they want to push themselves and squeeze themselves, it's fine. I'll only protect the two security guards outside. Whosever wants to be stupid now, should be

I'm sorry to say, but Nigerians(I know I'm included) are just one kind.
Very anyhow people

As at then it was #3700, I’ve done a couple more trips.

Yes, I am taking the necessary precautions. I have two bottles of Methylated Spirit and Alcohol, after each trip I spray the door handles, In and Out. It’s stressful sha undecided

Someone can not play with request again menh. I was gladly tearing away into my chicken from chicken republic when a request entered, from Adebayo Doherty to Oniru, on a good day I go offline before eating, can’t try it now. Every request you are lucky to get now counts! I will continue with the chicken from where I stopped grin
