"Policeman, you were beatingme, you were giving me hot slaps when I did you no wrong. And you boasted that nobody can question you as you were working for the government. Does the government ask you to be beating me for doing no wrong? Why do you want to kill me?"

The above is part of what the woman was saying in Yoruba.

But the police was smart enough to enjoy public sympathy by editing the part of the video clip where the poor woman was being assaulted.
Remember that just few days ago,a similar situation happened in Osun State where a policeman was recorded beating a poor lady which consequently resulted to his dismissal. All in the name of enforcing the Covid-19 lockdown.
So, this time around, the police was smart enough to capture the woman's retaliation and not their own provocation. With this, the policeman in question has escaped the wrath of the IGP.

Please, FEAR POLICE. They can turn any case upside down to favour them.

First she broke a law by opening her shop. Even if the man sleep her he probably slapped her once and she paid back in four fold (I only counted four slap).
They should all face the law.
Woman should be punished for opening her shop and slapping the man four time.
The police officer should also answer questions as to why he slapped her. If slapping someone is part of the means for enforcing the lock down, then fine if otherwise he should also be punished for slapping her. Gender Equality

My prayer is that now the whole dust is settling and she's in police hands...she shud be taken to court quickly. A typical Nigerian no's her situation in the station (no matter how much police PRO tries to polish things) will not be a good one except she was taken to force headquarters n is detained by IGP.

Issue is that lots of us like myself don't understand Yoruba. Worse is that all the videos that went viral starts from the woman assaulting the police man. So that's what the police are harping on to prosecute

Though not captured in the video recorded by fellow policemen, the officer initiated the attack by slapping and beating the woman. You can hear the woman repeatedly asking why did you slap me,

They didn't record or edited the part where the woman was being beaten.

Something Is Not Right About The Video And Statement. The Woman Can Not Attack The Policeman Without Any Reason, At Least Somethings Must Have Transpired Between Them,She Could Not Have Slapped Him For No Reason Except She Is A Psycho But 13 Slaps Is A Lot For A Man Who Is Not Guilty Of Any Offence To Take. Just imagine what you are saying. Yes it was agreed the policeman slapped her first and she retaliated. The issue here is why would she slapped the policeman multiple times. If she had slapped the policeman once, it would have been a look over case. She has no fear at all. Slapping a policeman multiple times. The policeman hitting the woman doesnot determine the anger at which she struck back excessively in retaliation

The story is not complete. Something happened before she start slapping the police. The woman kept shouting you slap me and nobody care about that. She even said you didn't hear from me before harrasing me.

ANYONE who knows the nigerian police KNOWS that there is no way that woman would have launched such an offensive WITHOUT been attacked by the policeman. It almost certain. Now the video, recording started, policeman is suddenly calm. Same police that will kill over #50.
