I sense it too sometimes. That alpha male trait and Masculinity of a thing can be so annoying. Once a lady says something, it is foolishness to them but they won't accept that they too can sound foolish. It's tiring to even debate with them most times so I mostly just put a conversation stopper and everybody goes their way immediately.
