Assuming your engine is fine, check your radiator for a possible leak, check the radiator cover as well (as a starter you may change it). The radiator may also be blocked or clogged up, try to get it cleaned up.
I was once using a Yaris with temperature issue, changing the radiator solved the problem

Good day sir, pls i need your advice. I have a Toyota matrix 08 model. The Engine overheat at every distance i covered. The temperature level of the car goes to high. I no longer use AC and the over heating issue still persist. I always have to refill the radiator at every journey. I have change the radiator and the overheating issue still continue. Pls what can i do. Thanks

Hi .
Pls I have this issue with my Toyota Corolla 2010.
The following dashboard light comes on when I start the car but disappears after I've driven the car for about 1 hour and remain off for the rest of the day.
1) The check engine light
2) The anti skid light
3) The VSC OFF light.

However, the Tyre pressure light stays on permanently even after checking the tyre pressure. The vulcaniser told me that one of the tyres sensor is not there.

Please Car guru..I changed the the shaft of my Lexus 2005 model,the drivers side. I noticed after the shaft was changed that my gear does not engage into “drive”,however it reverses.. A technician said I might need to buy a new gear box. Can this issue be fixed? If not,How much might a new one cost?

Please I’ve been thinking of the type of car I should buy for a while now..considering I’m not getting a good pay in my current job so I need a car that can help with my movement around and also serve as a side hustle(UBER specifically) with minimal fuel consumption and low maintenance fee...I have Corolla 2005,2006 or Camry 2003, 2005, in mind though ..So I humbly require your advice on the type I should go for...my budget is between 800-1.5m

I changed the Shift solenoid of my Transmission but the car is not shifting after 80Km/h, it just disengages it and starts revving.

Then the D light starts blinking and at that stage I get a smooth drive with smooth shifting. Although sometimes i notice I lose power at some point.

What could be the issue??

It's a Honda City 2007
