Let him collect the 5m and set up a business and with time, he'll be making more than 100k a month instead of waiting for over 4 years to make 5m on a 100k per month pay.

Take the 5M and discharge!
Rent a house with 500k, furnish it with 100k
Rent a store with 200k, stock it with Mercury (3M worth).

He'll will break even in 6months... then continue expanding until you become richer than Dangote.

Then join politicks and contest for House of reps...

5 million naira!!!
They could sack you anytime.
With 5M you can achieve a lot in terms of profitable investment.

The fact that this guy in question is confused about the offer makes me really mad.... It's a no-brainer

A bird at hand is that very bird, No one dey bush! Collect 5m and leave this country, with that other things will follow suit if you know your way. There is no job security in Nigeria if you settled for the job, the country is getting worse it will tell on you someday.

Even a fool knows 5 million naira is the right option

with 5 million naira I will buy 2 Toyota Corrola and put it on uber / taxify and I will register with Jumia delivery partners like AIG logistic, i'll drive one and get a driver to drive the other one .. I bet you my monthly earning from jumia delivery + Uber + Taxify would exceed 500k a month after cost of vehicle depreciation, salary and vehicle mentainance, and every 6 months I would expand my fleet , and with a good comprehensive insurance premium of 80k-120k per anum, my investment are fvcking safe.. infact I might be tempted to pray for an accident or for the car to get stolen as I would get the cost of my car back as claims

but 100k running someones business where you don't have executive decisions or business decision is like cowardly placing your life In the hands of the company directors that can fire you at anytime

This is the point where he has to choose between Job security and being an entrepreneur.

With 5Million naira, a savvy entrepreneur could find his way to becoming a multi millionaire in the next decade through commodity trading.

If your friend has interest to become a business person, tell him to go for the 5m but if he doesn't have flair for business, then sticking to the 100k job is an ideal option to choose.

My story: My boss settled me with 1.5m Naira for serving him for seven years, 2.5 years after my settlement, I have built my own house in the village, seeing three of my younger siblings through different Universities, enrolled myself in a distance learning program (NOUN), now own three different business outlets with investment in other fellow savvy entrepreneur's businesses, reaping monthly dividends on my investments.

There's no better way to spin around money faster than getting into trading business. TB, FX, mutual fund etc...can't offer that. Again, I repeat; if he has interest in business, advise him to go for the 5m. That may be the beat choice he will ever make all his life considering this offer on the table.

See ehn many people don't know that to keep or secure money is more difficult than to get the money itself. When the five million fly in 6 months ur eye go clear. Tho the best option still remains the 5 million but I repeat you must have a mapped out plan first if not u will regret ever taking the 5 million. Take the 100k if you know u don't have a very clear and feasible plan.

Collect the 5M it's has more prospect... He can start up something or arrange a better Job with that amount. U can't predict the future of the company in 5 years. 5M in hand is better

5 million Cash

Well, both options have their own risk attached to it but having 5 million with a good business idea in a good working economy will do.

Take the N5 million please.
Who said the company will not go out of business in another one year.

Again, please take the N5 million

Are you jobless now? If you don't have a handwork.. Don't take the money.. That money will finish and you will go back to being broke. Once you touch the money, you will start seeing things in a different and dangerous way. Your taste will increase... You won't like that shoe ,house, that you have and staying in.. Always know when your breakthrough is ripe. That money will destroy you if this is your first time of having it. Take things slow, for the company to like your brother that much its best you take their job.
