Don’t think there’s an option here. 5 million cash is what will take him 50 months to make at the company assuming he gets no promotion.

The size of the compensation makes me believe it’s not really a big company with much room for growth anyway.

Let him collect the cash and invest but only if he’s sure he has the business acumen to make multiply it in a short time. Otherwise he should take the job.

It depends on his personality and abilities really.

5M is a huge sum, but come to think of it, if no plans on ground on how to spend that cash brother, I would advise you take up the 100k job because it will help you understand what it means to hustle. If you can pray am sure God will lead you. All the best

Collect the money and use 1m to buy federal government work, if he's lucky sef he can buy a job that has like 6 month's arrears. Then continue enjoying your life
