But in Aiyegbeni's defense, he 1) helped Portsmouth to Premier League promotion (playing as part of a two man attack with Paul Merson, probably one of the better England strikers who was still good at 37/8 then. b) was decent for Pompey and c) when he moved to Middles-borough, was a key player in their decent European and cup challenge for 2004//5 where at one point they could have won the league cup, UEFA cup and FA cup. d) did play well for Nigeria.

His mistake against Korea in 2010 world cup was not totally unexpected...he was already declining then , but at the same time, that's not the totality of his career.

Since Weah has won the world best player, he is first followed by Eto

I'm not saying George Weah is not good. I'm telling you Etoo is BETTER than him. I watched Weah's games during his AC Milan days, just like I watched Etoo, religiously back then. Do you know Etoo wore number 9 shirt in Barcelona? Do you know what it means to wear #9 jersey in a club like Barcelona?
