It is very clear that the nigerian God either doesn't exist or is a supporter and promoter of evil and wicked deeds. Hence, Nigerian people are often heard using the name of their God ad excuse for deadly acts perpetrated in broad daylight. However, I think, as long as you eat any meat, you are the same with OP. Remove the monkey's close resemblance or relativeness to man. Shedding and eating blood and meat of goats, chicken, pig, ram, cattle, dog, and even monkeys is all the same because IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY AND CRITICALLY, THEY ALL LOOK AND ACT LIKE MAN IN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.

God self know, I never chop meat for long and he sent me this....Front page please[/quote]

So the right doesn't apply to those animal's meat you buy in the market or the the animals you kill during the festive seasons.

Nor mind am, that's how Westerners guilt shame Asians for eating dogs while they enjoy eating beef forgetting that cows are sacred animals to many people.

Some people think they have the monopoly of choosing what's edible and what's not.

Any animal rights activist that's not a vegetarian is a hypocrite.

an animal is an animal it cant think and doesn't have a soul....the monkey is not closest to man in terms of brain structure and physiology rather the dog and dolphins....I have told u to stop watching osun broadcasting servise.all animals are equal go and beat the calabaris for eating dog meat..an animal is an animal and has no soul...God will not persecute u for killing an animal ....rather u will be persecuted for killing anything that has a soul and spirit...after u must have visited the hangman

So much ignorance.

First of all, all animals are not the same. Chimpanzees are capable of metacognition just like humans, and elephants have long memories, and can sustain a complex society just like ours. Elephants who survived the Vietnam War grew up hating humans and vehicles. They passed this knowledge down to their children and grandchildren. Lions have wonderful hunting techniques, ants have better organized societies than ours (even the Bible asked us to learn from the ants).

And as for how close the monkey is to man, you will have to look beyond brain structure and physiology. You will have to look at their DNA. Our DNA is about 96% identical to the DNA of monkeys, and about 99% identical to the DNA of chimpanzee who are our closest cousins.

If you are looking at physiology, then you will mistake a bat for a bird. But we all know that bats are not birds, just like dolphins are not fishes.

The Almighty God has given us dominion over all animals to feast on as we wish.

The OP is simply exercising his God-given dominion over the animal.

He has done no wrong and committed no sin.

The genetics of monkeys are so similar to human. Anyone capable of killing and eating this creature is guilty of carnibalism.

to me an animal is an animal..why kill a chicken and leave a monkey..they are both animals and should be treated equally...they don't have a soul..I just killed a wall gecko now u know y cos I want to pee on myself while asleep .so I shouldn't kill a parrot cuz it can talk nonsense

You killed a monkey that will not do anything to hurt you? an upright human should be scared of you!

Edit: You're not very far off from a wild animal yourself if a wild animal casually stroll into your house.
