This is how some of u mess things up; what Onu is doing is an indictment on the part of the government Onu serves, the last time I checked, Onu is not a minister of an "Igbo People Party/Government"; but ur nOnTrIbAl MiNd can only think of the ethnic group of people involved, and when people from that group react for wrongly calling them out, ur NOnTrIbAl MiNd would see it as an evidence that IgBo PeOpLe support the actions of Onu.
This is how stereotypes work.

Every sane mind should be calling for the enthronement of a merit-based system, stop using the action of Onu to castigate the somewhat only group calling for meritocracy in this country, and inadvertently indicting the right calls for the enthronement of a merit-based system.

A so called first class graduate of UNN going to do a Phd in University of Abomey ? Abomey? Beni Republic.

Next it turned out he never defended his thesis but on the strength of that Phd rose to become the DG of FIIRO.

This was discovered and he now comes back with another document dated 2020 to say he defended the 2001 thesis AFTER 19 years.

How can any Minister with ethics then say he should be reinstated AS DG?

But if you read it thoroughly, it never said he forged, but rather he collected an attestation from his thesis supervisor, and that’s is what he’s been using to gain promotion since 2001.
I think he’s wrong tho, and should be punished, because I don’t know what stopped him from defending and getting his certificate for 18 years.

I am waiting for the response of the Federal government on this. There is no way they can turned deaf ear on what has been going on this research Institute. The fraudulent DG should be in Jail now, i don't know what ICPC have been waiting for, unless they are really doing selective judgment. Even for the Minister of Science that I understand is a first CLass candidate during his school days, could as well support this fraud. It is shame.
If this true that the Man have been awarded the PHD, this year. But this same person was assumed to have completed and awarded the certificate since 2002 depriving others in that same opportunity to aspire to higher level with fake result and have also collected salary for that position till now. I am not told that the Award was backdated to 2002. Something is definitely not adding up. EFCC and ICPC should just go and do their work. This is corruption!!!!
