In marriage, or in this case proposed marriage, compromise is key.
Couples need to start seeing themselves as team players, treating the relationship and marriage as a business.
Whichever decision is the best for the team, in the long run, should be the best decision .

Ask yourself, if you were running a business and you have an option of getting an investor of 42 or 15m, which would you take ?

Its not like he is losing his job, he is just getting transferred, all he has to do is "measure up" in other areas of the marriage.

I am not saying a man should not earn money and take care of his family .

Money isn't everything, there are so many other aspects of marriage besides money.

a woman in her calibre will not get attracted to you because of what you can get/do for her(materialism or opportunism) but because of love and how you plays your game, how you carry/comport/conducts yourself, how you treats her, how principled you are(little wonder ladies get along well with those we termed bad boys than the so called good guys or gentle guys)
to such lady, everything is not about money but love which the guy may've understood very well.

Anyone that attains a career worth more 40m per year is definitely smart so I trust the woman to take the best decision for herself. With her money and position, it'll be much easier for her to fix her husband to another job if he moves than it'll take for her husband to fix her. In fact, every pointer shows it'll be foolish of her to move and I'm sure if she's our sister who sends us money, pays our school fees and buys us video games, we wouldn't ask her to leave her job. Till now, I've not read any good reason for her to move other than just the fact that the other partner has a male se.x organ. And like I said, it's unfair.

A first level manager earns that in many IOCs and top independents. First level manager o.

In some companies, even non-managers earn that.

You can become that within 8-10 years of working.

lol, you don't know what you are saying. Many people are so enclosed in their bubble. I know people in my industry earning those amounts. Young people. And I don't want to reveal personal details here to tell you my yearly salary and then you extrapolate. Oil and Gas in Nigeria - IOCs (shell, Mobil, Chevron, BP etc) pay ridiculously high but it's very tough to enter. Wake up to reality
