It is rational to argue that in the eyes of the law you have committed the crime too by not reporting. Where your act or omission helps another person to commit an offence then you are equally guilty. You are aiding them by not reporting.

Are you the Accountant in charge of the business operations?
If yes, then you have an obligation safeguard the assets of the company against assets misappropriation
Just before you blow the wistle, make sure the management do the following:
1. Be sure that the cash of the company are being stolen
2. By whom?
3. How are they able to perpetrate these fraudulent acts?
4. thoroughly detail and analysis the loopholes these guys are using to steal the cash
5. Going by your analysis of the loopholes in the system, advise the management on what actions to be taken to block these loopholes. Make your report formal. Whatever that is not written does not exist. Document all your actions.
6. Before you finally engage the management, design, write and submit for approval Whistle Blowing Policy for the Finance Company. Google search will help you a lot on a template suitable for the company. Make sure this piece of policy is formally presented to the Management and approved. Make the part that protect the private identity of the blower is well captured in such a way that the Whistle Blower can engage the services security enforcement agencies eg EFCC, Police etc.

Do not warn your friends again. Because the more you do the more you expose your self
