Hiding a crime also means you're an accomplice to that very crime. If you don't expose those criminals it simply means you're one of the very problem of this country.

I work in finance company and I'm in charge of all accounts. All monies are been remitted to me. The M.D of this organization is such a generous but uneducated woman. My colleagues are leveraging on this to siphon organization's funds to their various pockets. I'm not oblivious of this fact because I'm so sensitive to things around me,but I am d God fearing type that won't participate in such a dirty act.
I've called majority of those in this illicit act privately to warn them and let them know the implications. But to my utmost surprise, the bull-shit keep getting high and d MD is not the type to tell such hidden things, she will reveal the identity of her Intel.
The problem now is that,if this act persist, the company may go bankrupt sooner than later. Even though, the job is not worth dying for, half bread they said it's better than none. I can't afford to be jobless.
Please advise me on what to do?

NB: I'VE SUBMITTED APPLICATION TO OTHER COMPANIES BUT NO RESULT YET.
Go to your madam and explain discripances in revenue. Then tell her solutions that could block revenue leakage and increase revenue. Do not say anybody is stealing.

If she approved, then you're fine. Make sure you bam yourself so your colleagues do not kill you with juju.

Life itself is not fair. Suffering and pain is part of human existence.

You are in a dilema any action you take now you will still end up hurting someone.

If you report: you are going to put your co-workers and their family in trouble, they will lose their job and they will also go to jail if not for life.

If you choose not to report you will be harming the md and she might lose her business.

either ways you are going to hurt people.
And as such i will advice you to focus on yourself and mind your business.

OP you are not going to prison for anyones sin, my advice to you is;

Convince your MD to call for an external auditor to audit the company's account. The auditors report should reveal the happenings

Lol, one day, you will have your business and someone will encourage your finance manager this way. Only then you will realize the impact of such advise.
I know you are confused, I have worked under such scenerios, first thing let others know your stand as a person, you don't condone cheating, secondly, keep everyone record, all the fucking cheating record, what services is the firm offering.

Please dear, you have to open up to your boss, but do it in a way your boss will catch them, tell your boss everything, also advice your boss to invite auditors so that they will be the one to discover every hidden thing.

Little wonder why Nigeria is a mess

As an accountant isn't it your job to disclose any discrepancies in the company account?

Yes mind your business

But remember your business is the accounting job you have

So mind it and report those thieves

Most Nigerians are very wicked, you may get killed in the process if they know you reported them, of which they certainly will since you've already warned them.

Just pretend as if everything is fine with your thieving colleagues. Apply wisdom here but you must tell your boss one way or the other. I hate criminals

It’s better you find a way to report them since it’s affecting the growth of the company, you may be the one to save that establishment.

drop her an annonymous message. if the company folds up, it not only affects u, it would also affect others that would hv benefitted from being employed by her in future. Your colleagues are selfish people nd should be sacked. do not feel guilty about it if they get sacked because they very well deserve it. Afterall the boss is a nice woman, ask yourself it she deserves being paid this way by her workers for her being a nice boss.

This is terrible advice, and it can only come from a place of wickedness

Who cares about the family and wellbeing of thieves? Did the thieves consider their family and wellbeing before stealing from someone who has been good to them? How can you promote paying good with evil?

This is the kind of rubbish advice some of you will drop online, then when your future employer sees it and refuses to give you employment for your outlook in life, you will come and blame village people.

This internet is a global village, watch what you say, lest, it will find you when you least expect, and bite you in the ass.

You better report the matter to her, if you don't report it, then you are also partaking in their sin, it's a sin not to report evil deeds.
Re: Should I Expose Them? by tomdon(m): 5:58pm On May 21
Even if it will cost you your job, your obligation is to report such acts of stealing let alone when keeping quiet is what will eventually take away your job. Not exposing them makes you complicit, an accomplice of fraud without earning the benefits of fraud

If you are not involve expose them.... Even if you are involved still do the needful. You will be glad.
