Because I realize I will not get a second chance to live and do any of the things I missed. Mistakes take on a really frightening dimension because I won't have a second chance to live and avoid them. It puts a lot of things into a perspective that means everything has weight if I must live this life to the fullest of my capacity.

In the USA, The title of Professor is given to people that have a PhD and are teachers at any academic level. A person who is a Doctor is someone who has finished a terminal degree meaning they have completed the highest degree in their field of study above a bachelors.
