I strongly believe the rape is as a result of her lack of consent being a minor, and not the forceful violent sex that is generally understood as rape in Nigerian society. Employer probably had a fling with her at work which resulted in the pregnancy, but already married so couldn’t take her in.
She did great raising them up, probably with some support from their father, but I’ll have to agree that she and especially those children stand to lose more than gain from putting everything in the public sphere.

To live, carry likeable body size or shape, keep a smooth skin, talk sense, keep family or friendships, pass exams, succeed in any profession etc, demand some cautions and efforts. It is not every word that reminds people of good shape or size that is body shaming. And, some shaming words are opportunities for the hearers to fix themselves and not a recipe to abuses and courses. Our sisters should learn to see some good in criticisms. Afterall, everyday everywhere, they use all sorts of words on men (even their fathers, brothers, husbands, colleagues, children and acquitances); and men still manage to strike some balance. The victims try to motivate but in the end they will hurt the parties involved as we have seen. There are debates around when a much older man has sexual relations with a minor, should such cases be considered as rape. Rape is defined as forceful penetration but should it not be forceful and it is between a minor and adult, is it rape? The question she should be asked is if the man has been responsible for these children. If he has, then we don’t need her words of motivation. There are chances that she agreed to it. There are loads of teenagers out there that are waiting for an adult man to come talk to them. I have encountered a number. Such teenagers needs to be dealt with seriously. The message makes it look like it’s happens every time because of vulnerability but no, many of the times, it’s a case of a teenager who wants to explore. How many will come out and condemn their teenage lives... it’s a phase of vulnerability, ignorance and exuberance. However, when we find light and th truth. we should always say the truth to teach others not paint a victim picture.

It is understandable that more than likely her employer had a fling with her which resulted in the pregnancy. For all we care she probably initiated it to get favors from her supposedly better off employer, but the fact of her being legally a minor who could not give consent makes it rape.

Thank God for your decision not to abort these innocent dudes. Hope the rapist is in Prison?

What would a fifteen year old girl have done with pregnancy at that age other than to accept her fate and be looking at the pregnancy helplessly ? Abortion would not even come to her mind because she was too young and naive to think of such. But for her to be able to see through the pregnancy at such a tender age, she is a strong woman and deserves some accolades. I want to believe that she got maximum support from her parents as well.

I can only hope that these boys are mentally strong enough to cope with some heavy punches that the society, our society, will throw at them in a determined attempt to knock them off their feet because of this piece of information about them.

I don't think it is compulsory to leave every piece of information about our lives out there simply because we want to be seen as a strong person or just to curry societal love and sympathy. I hope this won't turn out to be a mistake.
