Maviscope Fertility centre Benin City is offering IVF Ferility treatment (In-vitro fertilization)N600,000(Six hundred thousand Naira) Registration starts 01/04/2020 and ends 30/04/2020 between 9am and 4pm daily

That's the advert he sent me before the lockdown. A lot of women in our fertility group got results through him. Also on his facebook page, several results and deliveries weekly so will definitely recommend him any day for those trying to save cost. Like I said, this was b4 lockdown so cant tell what he's charging now as prices of most thgs have gone up due to importation restrictions so call him and hear him out. You can mention you got the infor from Fruitful Babes cos its a discount he gave the fertility group.

This time last year, he gave around 800k IVF quotation, 135K(double insemination) for IUI, both are subject to changes, depending on amount or type of drugs u eventually use during procedure. Then perculiarity of the case, like age, etc

These clinics that do ivf promo, how are they able to do every body's retrieval on the same day?
Please, is there any fertility doctor in the house that can explain this?
Please, who knows of any 'affordable' ivf clinic in Abuja that treats people individually?

IVF is like a series of events
Firstly there is total investigations to ascertain the cause of infertility (both couples)
when all investigations are out, the patients are stratified depending on the mode of IVF (some will use their own eggs and sperms, for those that have low sperm count they will require ICSI, some will require donor eggs or donor sperm, there is also room for surrogacy). This depends of the various individuals, the cause of infertility and the best remedies.

The patients are started up on hormonal drugs (which involves downregulation, agonist or antagonist protocols). Note: these treatments are patients specific. different people respond to these drugs differently

During egg collections (oocyte retrievals) the patients are grouped into various batches. So that the oocyte retrievals are done for different batch everyday or every other day for a period of time, depending on the client response and cycle. The sperm is collected, prepared and used to fertilize the eggs.

On the various days (3rd of 5th day) of Embryo Transfer, the embryos are transferred in batches and in days.

so with the above very many patients will be attended to.

There is also room for Sperm Freezing for couples who will like to use the sperm again for their next pregnancies. maybe in two or three years time.

The above are some of the protocols by Maviscope Hospital and Fertility Centre, Benin City.
they are really producing good results and the way patients are been carried along in the management up to delivery of the baby.

The World and the Health care system is evolving and we should all evolve with it.

There shall be none barren in the land.

I feel it's better to just add 100k and do ivf instead. The new clinic I'm using, charges around 400k for everything including tests and blastocyst sef.
Although, we had to do an emergency surgery that cost us extra sha and the doctor still gave us plenty discount on the surgery since it wasn't planned.
IUI success is not encouraging in my opinion, and you'll still suffer the same injections and all.
Please clinic name, location and contact.

Try Kingswill at Festac. His IVF is still affordable, a lit below N1m.

But if u can travel to Benin, there is a Dr we are currently working with that is very affordable with good success rates. He gave us N600k just before the lockdown. Though I cant tell if the promo will still be on after the lockdown but I dont expect it to be so high from what it currently is.

A big thank you to everyone who has been keeping this thread busy as I havent been here in a while. Your miracle is around the corner as we shall surely cross over. one love......

Pls blendy77,where is the hospital located in Benin. thanks in advance for your response.

Dear All. I and my wife have been TTC. We recently did an IVF recently and to God be the glory she came out Positive. The transfer was done 3weeks ago. 3 embryos were transfered. Today, we went to the hospital for another reason and the hospital because of pending lockdown in the country asked us to do a scan. The scan was actually meant to be in the 4th week but we did it in the 3rd week. The result showed one sack was valid. We were advised to redo the scan on Saturday.
I want to asked, is it possible that the scan was done prematurely and hence the reason for the seeming poor result. Is their a chance that the other embryos would still grow before the next scan.
PS.. I am hopeful

3 weeks ago. That's 5 weeks gestation. At 5 weeks, don't expect to see much. Scan is usually around 6weeks if am not mistaken.
Seeing only sac at 5 weeks is not bad, i think it's too early for scan sef. Repeat the scan as they recommended.
Please, which hospital did you use?
