Questiontime:
Dear All. I and my wife have been TTC. We recently did an IVF recently and to God be the glory she came out Positive. The transfer was done 3weeks ago. 3 embryos were transfered. Today, we went to the hospital for another reason and the hospital because of pending lockdown in the country asked us to do a scan. The scan was actually meant to be in the 4th week but we did it in the 3rd week. The result showed one sack was valid. We were advised to redo the scan on Saturday.
I want to asked, is it possible that the scan was done prematurely and hence the reason for the seeming poor result. Is their a chance that the other embryos would still grow before the next scan.
PS.. I am hopeful

Thanks for all your responses. She went for another scan today. Its about 5weeks now. The doctor says the sac is still small, but they can detect heart beat of the baby and the size is seemingly OK in size. But the issue is that the sac is not growing. Its 6.4 in size(not so sure).
Please it their any chance of survival. I am still hopeful and prayerful.

Congratulations. Let her drink LOTS of water. She should always stay hydrated. Very important and will likely help.

Please house who has any positive review about charitos bo hospital abuja. Or planning to cycle with them. It seems their ivf is 450k which looks affordable to me. Any reviews please.
I have been there before, very neat hospital and the doctor is kind. That's all I have for now

Thanks for your advice. But like I said, the doctors are still concerned that the sac is not growing as much as it should. Is it a problem?

I don't know o. That's why I suggested that she should be very hydrated. I know that being dehydrated (since the weather has been hot) can reduce the fluid content of the sac and I think the fluid content determines sac size.
Heart beat and fetal pole are what I thought was important. I never knew sac size could be an issue this early on.
Let her drink up and see how it goes.

I saw online that maybe the embryo implanted later than expected. So, she's not as far along as you think.

She just replied
Name is Kings court hospital, now at Nowas beside zenith bank.
Dr Ezeugwu- xxxxxxxxxx

It seems they have relocated to abakpa from new haven
Call d doc

Edit
So sorry,. I didn't know my last post on this was not posted as I was struggling with my boy

Heard Kings court has stopped doing ivf
But memphy's hospital does. Penoks bustop by air Force base, abakpa. She does not have the doctors contact. I don't know why Kings court stopped , if it has to do with their relocation or license

Also, I don't have review of memphy's hospital.

I will take down the Kings court phone no by evening. I left it cos he might know other affordable ivf hospitals

I just feel like updating my current status
I tested at 9-12dpo with faint positive and 13-14dpo negative including blood test.
Done scan to check uterus n hormonal test plus sperm motility checks .
The dr said the problem isn’t getting pregnant but it’s staying .
After my mc February, I even got pregnant after my bleeding stopped but never stayed.
March,April,May,now June, once I confirm pregnancy, 3days after it’s gone, now my husband opted for ivf , I don’t think I can do it, what if after everything I still lose it after three days.
Right now I’d stop ttc as there’s no need, every month same story n would b off the thread for a while.
Thanks for listening, just felt like ranting as I’ve been crying myself to stupor
Have you discussed with your doctor if you need to be placed on progesterone after your ovulation? That might just be what your body needs. Please meet a fertility specialist. You shall testify soon

I understand where you are coming from. Even me with my success story isn't always in a hurry to promote any clinic because I know it's more than the clinic, it's a million factors aligning together.
Exactly.

It’s fine, it’s just annoying my husband didn’t believe my case isn’t medical
The issue wasn’t inability to conceive so even if it’s iui, ivf or normal conception, the issue is conceiving n it staying after a day .
I was given all the necessary drug even progesterone n aspirin , vitamin d, pregnacsre conception n others I don’t even know n same thing happened, confirmed pregnancy for three days n next day gone.
When I miscarried, nothing was found as the reason n I even did all round test .
I’d just take a break , needless trying to conceive every month when I know it won’t stay
That's likely egg quality issues. It's not your body but the embryos probably have problems. That's why they don't have strength to implant and hold
You can try taking supplements to increase egg quality. That way, you may not even need ivf.

You really need to see a very good fertility specialist, i think your body is attacking your embryos, it sees them as a potential threat so it react by getting rid of it.

Pls see a specialist, you need to be placed on medication.

Since you want to do ivf, u could merge it with a surrogacy. Ie implant in both your womb and a surrogate that same cycle.
Yes a surrogate cycle can fail like an ivf can but atleast you eliminate that trend of your own body like I did in my case.

It was probably just her appointed time to conceive by God,not necessarily the supplement.

That's the advert he sent me before the lockdown. A lot of women in our fertility group got results through him. Also on his facebook page, several results and deliveries weekly so will definitely recommend him any day for those trying to save cost. Like I said, this was b4 lockdown so cant tell what he's charging now as prices of most thgs have gone up due to importation restrictions so call him and hear him out. You can mention you got the infor from Fruitful Babes cos its a discount he gave the fertility group.
Where's the Fruitful Babes group please. Is it on Facebook?

Yea, but since her tubes are ok, there's no harm in trying out supplements before ivf.
Check reviews of ovaboost on Amazon, it's a good supplement.
