This NAPTIP woman shouldn't be displaying her ignorance of law. Constitution guarantees everybody right of expression which includes justifying or condemning rape.

One can only be culpable or held as a suspect when one rapes or attempts to rape according to Criminal Code. Nowhere under Criminal Code or Penal Law have I read that expression of opinion makes one a suspect

When is Nigeria going to grow up as a nation?

Anybody should have the freedom to say whatever they want, even if that thing is wrong. The only exception is hate speech that incites unrest. Why in the world should someone be arrested for airing his opinion about rape? That is totalitarian and should not be condoned.

If someone is to be arrested, it should be in response to allegations against him.

Nigerians need to fight for freedom of speech. Never support dictatorial policies like this. Once you let them arrest people for speech, they'd use that power to arrest for other things too without probable cause.
