Bros, your parent very well, oluyole hardly get 5-6 hours light nowadays.

—The first chat was in August 2019. My sis spoke that they never took light for like 5days then.

—I proceeded to ask her today after you quoted me and see her response below.

Are you sure you live in Oluyole and it’s environ like this?

Lolz, op you are taking Fashola the minister of darkness serious Wonderful shocked

Fashola was overhyped when he was a Governor. Even a mad man will function as Governor of Lagos State because Lagos is like a country inside a country with huge IGR to fund any project, secure any amount of project loans and loot enough and still have enough left.

Don't ever use Lagos Governorship to measure the good leadership skill of any politician, if you want to know good leader, take the person to go and govern states like Ekiti, Abia, Osun, Benue, Taraba, Ebonyi, not a rich cosmopolitan state like Lagos undecided

Fashola is a failure who looted even money for sinking borehole, used millions to create stupid website grin

It is so strange for a Minister to come on air and dish out beautiful lies.In Ikorodu environ, light is terrible. We are Off and On over a year now and is pathetic as DISCO claimed it was designed like that by Federal Government. The people here don't know and cannot find who they can complain to as most of the people's representatives are nowhere to be found.
Is this the way for Nigeria Industrialisation? Shameful!!!.

I've never seen a minister of power who's so powerless.

No one respects him in the entire industry.

Niger State, Gauraka Suleja axis. We get light from 12:00am till 3:00am while you are asleep. Wake up, rush to charge your phone and the light is gone till the next day routinely. Very annoying.

How long will this 18 to 20 hrs power supply last? You know how there will be 18 hrs power supply for one month. The next month power supply will start dropping to 5,4,3,2,1 and zero hrs. Before you know it the minister of power will say there is no gas that will power the turbine that generates electricity.Or a total shutdown for several days.It has happened several times in the past.

Salah Mamman is the minister of power while Fashola is the minister of works so it's obvious you have an axe to grind with Fashola as your comments don't relate to this thread and to imagine three lazy people even liked your comment says a lot about the calibre of some.people on this forum

In fact, in my area in Ibadan it's another story...
Looks like they are monitoring the light, I was about to start this comment when light went off...yeah power outage....

Hmmm, at times it may be a flash of 5minutes till the next day...

Longest period is usually between 4 - 8 for the whole day to be followed by day or two with lesser hour or outright darkness ..

It was that bad
exactly...ibadan is worse..

we don't even bother switching to nepa as it will only last fr 2-5mins
d time dey bring it which is very rare might jus be 2hrs
it's shocking poor

The situation is annoying in Jos northeast.
They give us 9-13hrs power everyday.

They break it down to 3hrs in the morning.
ie frm 4am-7:30am.
11am-5pm in the evenings. then 8pm- 11pm.

Any time rain fall, we no go see lite for two or three days.

Help me check this illegal bill. We have been paying such heavy amount, the thing now crashed. Still, the AEDC staff will still write #15k for us even threatened to disconnect the wire.

Nobody will be interested in joining issues with you on this.

You should first ask yourself, what percentage of Nigeria is amuwo odofin?

Then have you tried to ask other people living in other areas of Lagos the situation of light in their areas.

Also have you tried to call your friends in other states to know how their light is?

To be candid with you even the minister who made the statement knows not up to 20% of Nigeria is enjoying 10 hours of power per day.
you just sounded stvpid.
your critisism and on his response does not correlate.
your making a valid point in a wrong topic.
