PDP cannot win Edo State.

You can remain in lagos and be rolling dice on the ground to check if PDP can win Edo state on not. But I will give you some information as someone who is from Edo state.

1. The last governorship election in the state would have gone the way of PDP if not for heavy financial inducement and buying of votes by oshiomole for Obaseki.

2. In the last general election, PDP won 2 out of the 3 senatorial elections. So, out of the 3 senators in Edo state, 2 are PDP, 1 in APC.

3. Out of the 9 house of reps position, APC won 5 while PDP won 4 in the last general elections.

The PDP just have to bring out a popular candidate in Edo State to challenge Ize-iyamu, because truth be told, Ize-iyamu is the topmost politician in Edo state.

The goal is not to win Central by a huge margin... They just need some reasonable numbers of votes from there even if they lose. And comparing what is currently on ground to when Anennih was alive. APC is a little more welcomed there now compared to say 4 , 5 years or 10 years ago.
my Edo central can Never vote APC by huge margin...even when Oshiomhole did alot of work in my region,we didn't vote him....take it or leave it, obasekk will win Edo if he decamps to PDP.
remember, oba of beinin is pro-obaseki,if he discreetly chose obaseki, election will be done and dusted

How many senators and house of Representatives members does PDP has in Edo currently?
They won because Obaseki was weak and couldn't even win his polling unit. Oshobaba won all the seats for APC in Edo north. With Oshobaba and Pastor Iyamu PDP that doesn't even have a credible candidate should forget Edo.

No reasonable party will allow Obaseki to use his platform to contest as the report of disqualification has nailed him forever. If he wins under any party, the courts will use the evidence in certificate discrepancies to nullify the election.

apart from that, the power of incumbency will favour obaseki.

I didn't see this coming, I am sure the governor too didn't see it. They also included Ogiemwonyi so as not to make it look like a witchhunt.

Obaseki, please don't embarrass yourself further. This is no longer about political fairplay but outright humiliation. Drop the fight and face other things. This game is very dirty and it would be wise to know when to give up and return to the trenches.

When they insisted all candidates must be screened, I know he will be disqualified. He also knew too because immediately after he was screened he said he expects no justice from the screening

It’s the best demolishing establishments of oshomole loyalists? Even organizing the stoning of oshomole in his hometown and burning of vehicles at a decamping event and shutting the doors down on oshomoles loyalist in the house of assembly and removing his whole loyalist in the local government ?
You don’t fight your helper when he still holds higher echelon than you in the battle field

What is the mood in edo state.?

We are tired of reading "baba so pe" analysis drafted from tinubu bedroom.
Market women are seriously jubilating in Benin except for IPOB members on social media who are still bitter about his disqualification.

There is an adage that says when a person cooks for the community,it is always easy to consume it,but when the community decides to cooks for you,it will choke you.
Obaseki was drunk in power such that he forgot 4years isn't going to last forever. He used his power to rebel against the authority that made him,now is the time to be humble and accept his defeat to avoid further humiliation
It is only the hungry political godfathers that cooked for him don't speak of all Edos
