Some Lexus so not allow for that. Once you decat them, random cylinder misfire follows with intermittent loss of power.

It's something I've tried and so I know what I am talking about.

It seems most lexus models require premium fuel to run, now in the absence of that in Nigeria what can we use to upgrade the fuel such that it would work as the premium fuel and at same time doesn't have any adverse effect on the engine

I recently got a RX350 011, Toks
The miles per gallon I always see on the screen is about 11MPG on average which is very high? When I took it to the mechanic for first service, he said I need to get the *catalyst* catalyst which cost about 250k How much b d car

Sad it's happening on a recently bought car. I would suggest you check it out with another mechanic before fixing anything. I noticed my car's (rx330) mpg dropped as well and I felt maybe it's because I don't always take it for long cruises, because I know cars consume less fuel on highway than city/urban cruises. all the same 11mpg is quite low so check another mechanic. Cheers

You seem so so bothered about MPG over anything else on your Lexus, yet, you own a premium SUV.

Well, since you're interested in getting to the root of the matter, run a live data scan on the car and a normal scan to pick up codes.
Take note of the live data recordings and post pictures of the readings here for my interpretation then we'll take it up from there.

Is it advisable using octane boosters at every refuel, and what type is recommended?

Since you changed in December, your oil is due for change under normal every day driving 6 months or 5,000 miles which ever comes first.
