leo1234: There are two types of trading. Stuck trading and stock trading. When you trade companies like Japaul,Abc trans, you are trading stucks. They don't care about your criticism but later fvck blood out of your nyash. I have learnt not to trade stucks but stocks. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Risk - Reward Management 101 Regarding JIJO, I have come to realize that if a sustainable system is used it can be very rewarding (maybe ). Even a 1.5x risk reward ratio with 30% accuracy can yield cool returns( not really ). A lot of people here do better sef ( ). To prove a point; 1.5x means risking a portion of capital to return 1.5 times that portion. Eg. go in a trade with 1 million and risk 100k (@ stop-loss 10% of capital) for a target gain of 150k. (1.5x is terrible but I still used it as case study.) While 30% accuracy would mean being right at least 30% of the time. (30% is very poor but I still used it as case study.) With this set up, the expected value would be (0.3 x 1.5) - (0.7 x 1) = 0.15 (0.15x) Thus, 1mil capital, 100k risk caped and potential reward of 150k or higher with 30% accuracy should return 15k ( depressing ) on average per trade. I am pretty sure some people here can do much better. Oga Loco and Madam Mcy56 comes to mind. Requires stocks with good liquidity, moderate volatility and a solid strategy. Note: 15k is just 1.5% of capital and still be a loss given brokerage charges. At about 2x and 40% hit rate is breakeven . May not be sustainable as a business sha except u are good at it. Pro status could be 2x at 80% . 1 Like |

stcool: Are you sure you are not trapped in this stock? Jegede should buy out shareholders, delist the company or he should sell the remaining assets of the companies and share the proceeds with the shareholders. If the company is liquidated shareholders should be able to get 50k per share. Which will cost the current about N3 billion |

Rem22: I will advise you open a Stockbroking account for your father with his bank account and BVN. Then tell the Broker to help him process his unclaimed dividends into his account Broker will charge you a token, but it is easier that way. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by MishdaFish: 12:02pm On Jun 21, 2020 |
Rem22: Good day, to your first question, Are you the next of kin of the deceased? If you are, then you need lawyer to do a transmission of shares through a probate registry( this happens when the shares of a deceased shareholder are inherited or bequeathed to an heir or personal representative of the deceased shareholder. It takes place in case of death or insanity) I don't know the charges but claiming a deceased share is not so easy. For your second question, you liase with your broker since the Certificate was not dematerialized( conversion from paper to electronic balance). Just provide your broker with the share holder's account details he would process all these for a fee. 1 Like 1 Share |
