Please look again at this video from 1:55:17 b'cos this attempt to disprove is really funny. grin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEDA4VzWb08

My words were clear. He began the move by holding onto it, and changed the direction of their attacking play by sending a calm pass towards the right wing which was eventually carried on by the winger who made the cross for the goal. Simple. Where did I say it was a direct pass? I was brief in my description and rightly so. You expect me to state every detail in a brief report.
My emphasis was on how the ball left central midfield towards the right wing that eventually found the feet of the winger who crossed and I said K.Nwakali was responsible for that coz he began the move that fetched them their equaliser. Lad even made a key pass in his 30mins showing.

Give the lad a break abeg. He deserves credit for the little things he is doing since his return Biko. No dey find talk where talk no dey.

You have the stats for yourself on Sofascore. There is nothing to break down on something you already have in your hands. It is only bias that won't let you credit the lad for an okay showing.

A player plays 30mins and gets a 6.1 rating and you call it poor. Joebie... I am beginning to question your football know-how. Lol

And again, I didn't lie. I said he began the move and sent the ball wingwards to the right. The move ended up with the winger who crossed for the goal. That is what happened in brief. Did I say it was a direct pass? Lol... Na wa oo.

You are refusing to acknowledge this b'cos it destroys the purpose for which you started this childish noise. Lol... grin

Kelechi is giving you nightmares. grin Sorry ooo

Joebie:
Oga break down the rating. I’m not even concerned about the 6.1. U mentioned key pass and stopped there. Continue breaking down the stats.

That said, my point is very clear. Your extended highlights still exposes you lies that he started the build up or whatever does not make your earlier statement true. You lied typical of a hype man.

TheSuperNerd:
Yes... Now let me add some flesh to this.

Got subbed in on 60mins with Huesca 1-0 down. Some minutes after he came on, they went 2-0 down. Not long after that they got a penalty and made it 2-1. Around the 90mins + added time mark, K.Nwakali played a fine role in their equaliser that made it 2-2. Started the move by holding onto the ball before picking his pass, sending a calm ball to the right wing for the winger to carry on and pick a cross and it resulted in a goal.

Played 30mins+ today and again encouraging signs were seen. The lad just need to keep on playing. With more minutes, hopefully will come more extra urgency and intensity to his game. He did okay today.

Let the cries of bias resume. grin

A report was given in brief and how you understand it is your own business. But I was clear enough for a brief report.
I never said it was a direct pass. A pass was made wingwards by Nwakali to the right wing to change Huesca's direction of play. It got there and the move continued and was carried on by the final player who made the cross. Emphasis was on Nwakali starting the move. I never called it a second assist also.

This is how I said "The North remembers" in a post and someone took it for something else. I cannot help who misunderstands or chooses to misunderstand or give false interpretation to my posts. It is your and their problem. grin

But this by you is just an attempt to not only misinterpret and lie by posting a cut off clip not showing Nwakali's involvement in getting the ball wingwards. It is also an attempt to belittle the boy's performance. Why so vexed by this lad? grin Give him space to grow into this team.

You posting it, still proves my point. You only helping me communicate my point. Lol

I never called it a direct pass or a second assist. I was being as brief as possible emphasising the lad's involvement in the goal by getting it wingwards and mentioning the end of the move involving the winger which resulted in a cross as shown in the full match video I posted. That is why it is called "Brief." Lol

Smh.... Better luck next time. In trying to expose what you feel is a lie, you have only made yourself look silly with that short clip. grin

But this is the full video of the truth backing what I described in brief. He started the move. He sent it to the right wing and the move wingwards eventually got to and was carried on by the winger. That goal began with Nwakali. Simple.

Joebie you are desperately tryna look silly here, but Nerdy is smarter. I just like people being mindful of their choice of words, and that's exactly what Nerdy did to have you make a fool of yourself by yourself. grin

From his write up, he clearly stated that he sent a pass to the right WING, while you are here talking right WINGER. You are the one tryna lie against him to save face. He never said winger, rather he said wing, and from the video, he was correct. Na u dey lie abeg

English no dey easy for everybody but it is well. Wonder what was so hard in my brief report? If he made a pass to the winger, I would have typed Right Winger and not Right wing. But I kept emphasising "Right wing" for him to try get me and see his foolery. Pass to the right wing. The full video shows that. Everything culminated in the winger carrying on the move through the right wing and crossed for the goal. Simple.

You know, I find it very amusing seeing Joebie waiting for a chance to try catch me off guards. Hahahaha. But it's not his fault shaa... wink I have been on his case for a while since I returned. grin He just wants to score back by finding just anything. But he doesn't know I have a strong defence. Lol.

Refer to the snapshot. You said he passed to the winger who crossed for the scorer. True or false?

.

Ogbeni stop lying, he said he sent the ball to the right wing, he never said he sent the ball to the right winger. You wanted to drag him through the mud but you ended up making a mockery of yourself, because you now seem to suffer from a particular disease - the poor comprehension syndrome, we all thought MbJAndre was the only one suffering from this disease in here oo grin

Transfer Update: The Dennis link

I understand from a few reports that Jose Callejon may be on his way out of Napoli. He is in the final weeks/month of his current contract and could leave Napoli. The 33 yrs old winger's likely departure is possibly the reason links to Dennis Bonaventure remain strong.

Time will tell how it all goes.

Genk agrees deal with Heracles to sign Dessers.

From the look of things, Dessers may not be able to get up to 5caps for Nigeria, not when we have osimhen, sadiq, Iheanacho, Dennis and maybe Moffi all playing in a better league

Hmmmm.... You know that is a good question Chris. Are we dragging anything? Let me think first. I mean, come on Chris... I have not even met his wife. I don't know her. So it's definitely not that. What could it be then that made him act this childish, making a fool of himself? Well sometimes in a bid to prove a point, some people make mistakes and end up looking silly for it. I believe this is one of those times for Joebie. He will bounce back more mature I hope. wink

So Dessers joins Genk to compete with two other Nigerians in Onuachu and Odey for the CF role. Well, wishing him the best but like you said, should Dennis and Sadiq especially get their Top 5 league move and begin doing fine things. Wahala go dey.

The competition dynamics is interesting to watch.

I love Iwobi, but Eze would bench him even in the Arsenal team if both fight for the AM position, Eze is best suited, he makes it look simple because he has the traits.

You are right. Odey wasn't getting good enough opportunities even with Samatta's departure. Came off the bench a couple times and only made one start for them all season before it was stopped. Now Genk have signed Eredivisie top scorer for 19/20 and he is also like a home boy due to his Belgian lineage connections. Odey's chances of more playing time just got threatened for real. Onuachu and Dessers will be favorites.

READING 1-1 STOKE (Championship)

Player Ratings

Ovie Ejaria: 5
A quiet, low-key afternoon for Ejaria. Found it difficult to find space centrally, sometimes being doubled or tripled up by Stoke players to shut him down. Also guilty of overplaying a few times too - as he has been in the past too often.

The tactics of the day meant he’d rotate with Swift and Olise in the midfield trio. Although that does give Reading some fluency in the middle, it did also mean Ejaria dropping too deep to be effective at times. I’d like to see him pushed higher up more consistently.

Michael Olise: 7
A bright game for the youngster, who looked at home in a central attacking role and could have had a goal and assist in the first half. Forced a good save from Butland from just outside the area, and his dinked left-footed cross from the right wing was so nearly met by Joao for 2-0. Quieter after the break, but did open up Stoke with a through ball to Meite in the right-hand channel that the Ivorian should have done more with.

--SBnation

Rohr should take a look at olise too
the dude is a fine attacking midfielder

Stephen Odey can play from the wings. Maybe they will put him in the wings
But i feel for him. He is perhaps the most visible proof that our local league in Nigeria can produce good players. He is an MFM boy from the Nigerian league.
